Kazuya, Toma, and Shota were led through the winding corridors of the restaurant.
As they walked, the gangster who escorted them was still trying to comprehend the leader's decision.
"Ugh, why did the boss comply with them! These guys are clearly imposters!" The gangster muttered to himself.
"And besides aren't the little ones too young for this kind of job... well of course the big guy is an exception but this is ridiculous!" The man thought to himself
As they were walking. Kazuya couldn't help but glance around, taking in the desolation that had befallen the once-bustling establishment. He could see the toll the invasion had taken on the place – the overturned furniture, the cracked walls, and the pervasive scent of decay.
The gangster leading them, always glanced back at them every few seconds occasionally, to make sure they were still following. Toma walked beside Kazuya, their steps almost in sync, while Shota trailed a few paces behind, his eyes scanning their surroundings with intensity.
"This place seems to be so lively," Kazuya sarcastically murmured to Toma, his voice barely above a whisper.
Toma nodded, his expression hardening. "These guys don't care about anything but power and control. We need to find Hiroshi's daughter and get her out of here before things get even worse."
The gangster grunted, throwing a suspicious look over his shoulder. "What are you kids whispering about?"
Kazuya looked worried but Toma quickly answered the question.
"Were just commenting on the state of the place," Toma said smoothly. "It's a shame to see it like this."
The gangster sneered. "Save your pity. This place is ours now."
They continued through the labyrinthine hallways, passing several more gangsters lounging around, their eyes following the trio with thinly veiled suspicion. Kazuya's heart pounded in his chest, each step feeling heavier than the last.
Finally, they reached a junction where the hallway split into two directions. The gangster paused, looking undecided. "Stay here," he ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument. "I need to check something."
As the gangster turned to walk down one of the corridors, Toma leaned in close to Kazuya and Shota. "I'm going to slip away and look for Hiroshi's daughter. Keep him busy if he comes back."
"Wait! What if you get caught?!?!" Kazuya said with a worried look
"Don't worry, I just want to know where they kept her so when we come back it'll be easier to get her." Toma said.
Kazuya was hesitant but then nodded, "Be careful, Toma."
Toma gave a reassuring smile before slipping into the shadows. Kazuya and Shota watched him disappear, then turned their attention back to their immediate surroundings, trying to appear as nonchalant as possible.
Moments later, the gangster returned, a suspicious frown on his face. "Hey! Where's the blue haired kid!?"
"He had to use the bathroom," Kazuya said quickly. "He'll be back in a minute."
The gangster's eyes narrowed, clearly not buying the excuse....
Meanwhile, Toma navigated the darkened hallways with practiced stealth. He paused at each intersection, listening for any signs of movement before continuing. Finally, he found a door slightly ajar, the sound of muffled sobs reaching his ears.
Pushing the door open gently, Toma stepped inside to find Hiroshi's daughter, a young girl with tear-streaked cheeks and wide, fearful eyes. She looked up at him, hope and terror warring in her gaze.
"Please don't hurt me!" she whispered, her voice trembling.
Toma reassured her, "Don't worry, I was sent by your father to come get you."
For a moment the was a sign of hope in the young girl's eyes, but it quickly faded away.
"It's no use... Your wasting your time. These guys aren't ordinary people, they wield things that are out of this world. Just save yourself if you can and get out of here before it's too late!"
Toma then chuckled. "Hey little girl trust me, I know what I'm getting myself into."
The young girl was perplexed at Toma calling her a little girl, when he was clearly no older than 15.
Toma moved quickly to her side. "Just relax. We're going to get you out of here. Are you alone?"
The girl shook her head. "There are others is in the next room, I don't know who they are, but what I do know is that they were captured."
Toma thought for a while and spoke out. "Stay here. I'll go check."
As Toma turned to leave, a shadow fell across the doorway. He looked up to see another gangster, a lean man with a cruel smirk on his face, blocking his path.
