Kazuya stood there in the main room of the bandits' hideout, his face flushed and eyes wide with a mix of confusion and nervousness. Toma, Jun, Shota and Miss Akane all gathered up in the room, waiting for Kazuya to speak up.
"C'mon kid, we don't got all day you know. Tell us what happened."
Kazuya ran a hand through his hair. "I was just sitting on my bed, thinking about everything that happened before i came here.... Then suddenly... everything started moving in slow motion. Like, literally everything. The curtains, the ceiling fan and even the dust in the air. It was all so slow."
The bandits exchanged glances, curiosity piqued. Mousa leaned forward, his usual calm demeanor slightly cracked by intrigue. "Slow motion, you say? What were you doing right before it happened?"
"I was just.... doing nothing basically." Kazuya replied, shrugging. "I wasn't doing anything special. It just... happened."
Shota, who had been silently observing, communicated by using sign language. In which Toma interpreted.
"I think Shota is right" Toma said. "Maybe it could be your ability manifesting? Maybe you're starting to tap into whatever powers you have."
"It makes sense, because We've seen stranger things. But I wonder why would it be slow motion?" Toma said with curiosity.
Mousa stood up, his expression thoughtful. "Maybe it's not just slow motion. Maybe it's something more fundamental, like time itself. If Kazuya's ability is linked to time, it could explain why he experienced things moving slowly."
Kazuya looked around at them, feeling a mix of hope and anxiety. "You really think so? That my ability could be related to time?"
But the more Kazuya thought about it, the more it seemed plausible, because he used to feel like he experienced similar situations like that one. But not only that, Kazuya was really liked to learn about the theories of the universe, and he really liked the theory of time.
"Well there's only one way to find out if your ability is linked with Time Manipulation" Jun said, walking over to him.
Jun then leaned towards Kazuya, their faces were only inches apart. Which made Kazuya blush.
"We need to test it. See if use it again. Then we'll be able to understand it better.." Jun said.
Mousa nodded in agreement. "If it is time manipulation, it's a powerful ability and a dangerous ond as well, no wonder they gave you a unique subject number"
Kazuya's mind raced with the implications. "So, what do I do? How do I learn to control it?"
"We'll help you," Toma said, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "We'll figure it out together. For now, try to recall exactly what you felt and did when it happened. We need to see if you can replicate it."
Kazuya nodded, feeling a sense of determination. "Alright."
The bandits gathered around, ready to assist Kazuya in exploring his newfound ability. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and camaraderie, each of them understanding that Kazuya's potential could change everything for their group.
But outside the room, there was Aiko who was spying on them.
She then took her phone and called someone. When the phone was answered. A voice of a man resounded through the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hello, it's me Aiko."
"What do you want?" The man said with an ignorant tone.
"I've been gathering Information about the vigilantes who have raided Chrono Reaper's old hide out. I found out something very interesting that you would love to hear.... "
The voice behind the phone sounded curious. "Keep talking...."
