In a dimly lit, unknown location, the air was thick with tension. The walls were adorned with maps and diagrams, intricate plans that told the story of countless missions. A long, polished table stood at the center of the room, surrounded by a group of men and women.
A man of sharp intellect and few words, stood at the head of the table. He cleared his throat, signaling the start of the meeting. "Let's begin," he said, his voice echoing slightly in the room. "We're here to discuss the recent events surrounding Kazuya Takahashi."
A woman with piercing blue eyes nodded and activated the holographic display in the center of the table. Images and data about Kazuya flickered to life. "Kazuya Takahashi, a known outcast with the ability to manipulate time at a low local level.
"Born in Tokyo, Japan, he displayed his abilities early in life, which eventually drew the attention of the Chrono Reapers. He is seen as a prodigy in their systems since he is one of the outcast that can manipulate the fundamentals of the universe.
"Which makes him even more of a threat to our world...."
Another agent who was a seasoned operative leaned forward. "The Chrono Reapers captured him months ago. According to our intelligence, they intended to harness his abilities to further their firepower in their upcoming attack on us..."
But one of the agents interjected, "However, their plans were thwarted by an unexpected group – the troubling groupof vigilantes who call themselves bandits."
The hologram expanded to include images of the bandits. "These bandits are no ordinary criminals, they are a group of highly skilled fighters who have been getting in the middle of the Chorno Reapers and also our missions as well."
"They live on the fringes of society. 2 of their members possesses unique abilities while the others are highly skilled fighters and would surely have a high rank in our organization.
"They managed to infiltrate the Chrono Reapers' stronghold and rescue Kazuya."
One of the agents smirked. "It's ironic, really. The Chrono Reapers, those pests call themselves the masters of manipulation and control, but they got undone by a ragtag group of locals."
Keller nodded thoughtfully. "Indeed. But it's more than irony. It's a pattern. The bandits aren't just some rookies, they are skilled fighters, they have been roaming around the streets of tokyo for some time now. They also have been taking in number of outcasts lately.
He continued, "The bandits took Kazuya in and have been hiding him ever since. They've become something of a sanctuary for outcasts, providing protection and training."
"Which makes them a double-edged sword," One agent added. "On one hand, they're keeping Kazuya and others like him out of the Reapers' hands. On the other, they're a growing threat that we can't afford to ignore."
Keller tapped a finger on the table, deep in thought. "We need to consider our next move carefully."
The room fell silent as the agents pondered the implications.
After a moment, One agent wearing a black hoodie who hadn't spoken up until now, stood up and broke the silence.
"Are you guys serious???"
Everyone in the room looked at the man.
"What do you mean?"
The man in a black hoodie chuckled
You guys are being too cautious, we already gathered enough information on the bandits. We already know their motives are to go against both us and the Chrono Reapers, and we understand their capabilities fully. So why should we be cautious?
Everybody in the room was baffled, but one agent thought something wasn't right.
"And who exactly are you to say what we should do? And if I'm not mistaken, no agents are allowed to hide their face, please reveal your identity immediately."
The man took off his hood and revealed his identity...
Everybody in the room gasped.
"Agent Satoshi!?!? What are you doing here."
The man who just revealed his identity was an old man with a mischievous smile.
"I'm here to make things right!"
One of the agents stood up from her seat.
"Agent Satoshi, you're not allowed in this meeting. You have to be a high ranking moderator to be allowed here!"
Agent Satoshi laughed, "High Ranking Moderator? Let me remind you, I'm one of the Seniors in this organization, just because we let you guys handle on organizing the missions and data doesn't mean your ranks are higher than mine..."
All the agents weren't liking the situation even in the slightest because they knew how troublesome this guy was.
One of the agents spoke. "So what do you suggest Agent Satoshi?"
A smirk appeared on Agent Satoshi's face. "Let me take care of the mission. I'll assure you that everything will be under control and we will face no casualties"
Most of the agents were against that idea. "Absolutely not! If we let this maniac handle the mission, then he will do something crazy! Just look at him! He's crazy!"
Some of the other agents nodded. "Yea i agree with him, remember the 303 mission in Malaysia? He went wild and created chaos! Not to mention the look in his eyes whenever he similes, it gives me the creeps"
Many of the agents were against their member for handling the mission but one agent had other ideas.
"Maybe we should hear him out, it's not everyday he get a Senior proposing to take authority of a mission like this..."
Everyone was shocked at the suggestion. One of the agents who was sitting next to him asked. "Are you mad!?!?"
The seasoned agent spoke. "Listen, we have too much on our table right now, we currently don't know where the Chrono Reapers are hiding and it seems they're laying low because their previous hideout was discovered. So our number one priority now is locating them, The Chrono Reapers are our target not some wannabe vigilantes"
"So I think we should let Senior Satoshi handle this mission, while we work on keeping track on the Chrono Reapers and other potential outcasts. Even if we don't give him the mission, do you really think he wouldn't take care of those bandits anyway!?"
The agents hated to admit it, but the he was speaking facts, All the other seniors were currently out on a mission. Agent
Satoshi was the only one available.
"So are there any objections?"
The room was silent.
"Very well, Agent Satoshi is authorized to get rid of the bandits."
The agents nodded in agreement, their expressions steeled with determination. They knew the stakes were high, and the path ahead was fraught with uncertainty.
As the meeting was almost at it's end, the seasoned agent's final words lingered in the air. "Remember, we are the Temporal Order. Our duty is to protect the world no matter what."
