Elena walked towards the garden slowly that early morning as she thought about the recent happenings in the castle; the only feelings that she could think of were anxiety and fright. With her mind at unrest about how unsafe she could be if ever she was discovered to have been in close contact with Bruce.
"What do I do?" She thought to herself as she strolled through the paths in the garden touching some of the flowers close to her especially the roses. The memories of how her mother usually took her to the edge of the woods to get flowers crept into her mind making her really sad.
"Are you ok?" The husky voice said to her from behind almost startling her. Elena turned only to see Ethan smiling as he approached her.
"What are you doing here? I can't be seen with you." Elena said as she looked around anxiously to be sure that no one was around to see them. Luckily, it was still very early and none of the guards was out.
