Bruce hastened his steps moving towards the woods. The darkness of the night couldn't stop him from seeing the paths before he clearly; one of the benefits of being a Lycan. The speed, the super strength, the largest wolf, the super senses, the fastest healing process, the ability to rejuvenate energy from the moon even when it wasn't full and so many other added advantages.
Being an Alpha also had some extras which Bruce was able to accumulate at a very young age. This included the crimson eyes which was usually given to true blooded and pure high ranking Lycans and the ability to compel his Pack members which usually could only be achieved once in a while except with full mastery.
As he walked gradually through the woods, he thought about his sweet encounter with Elena, the kiss they shared was the only thing he could think of as he walked sewer into the woods. At intervals he touched his lips and smiled in fulfillment.
