Chapter 56 - Del's Proposition

The giant loomed over them, his obsidian machetes gleaming with malevolent energy. In that moment, Silas remembered his newly acquired skill from the cephalofins.

Without hesitation, he activated his sonic disruptor. A cone of invisible energy erupted from Silas, engulfing the giant. The effect was immediate and devastating.

The behemoth's eyes widened in shock as the sonic attack assaulted his senses. He staggered, his massive frame swaying like a tree in a storm. The machetes slipped from his grasp, clattering to the ground.

Silas maintained the attack, his face set in grim determination. The giant's hands flew to his ears, but it was too late. Blood trickled from between his fingers, a stark crimson against his ashen skin.

With a final, gurgling groan, the giant collapsed. His massive body hit the ground with a thud that shook the street. Silas cut off the sonic disruptor, his breath coming in short gasps.
