Silas stood at the edge of the chasm. The vast expanse before them seemed insurmountable, but he refused to give up hope. As he contemplated their next move, a familiar voice echoed in his head, startling him.

"Silas! Can you hear me?" Rowan's voice, usually calm and collected, now trembled with urgency.
Silas's eyes widened, his heart racing. "Rowan? What's wrong?"
His companions looked at him in confusion, unable to hear the silent conversation.
Rowan's voice came again, breathless and strained. "You need to get back, now! The Fae... they've attacked. All the mage knight universities... they're gone. Destroyed."
Silas felt the blood drain from his face. "What? How?"
"I don't know," Rowan replied, his voice tinged with fear. "It happened so fast. Arcanium's under siege. Nadia and I... we're fighting, but I don't know how long we can hold out."
