Chapter 84 - Chapter Eighty Four

~Take me with you~

"Where could he be? He must be somewhere in the kingdom" Queen Niamh kept searching room after room. She was in the courtroom when she sensed his presence. Dark, dangerous and deadly.

"My little love is now a queen" he chuckled. The guards rushed in and surrounded him, with their swords aimed at him.

Damien chuckled darkly.

"Is this some kind of joke?" He pointed at the royal guards, surrounding him.

"The war has ended, you lost. What are you still doing?" Here comes Niamh's voice as she took graceful steps towards him. The royal guards made way for her as she sliced between them.

"The war never ends until I have you under my roof" Damien replied. His voice was deep and loud, almost making Niamh's muscles twitch but Niamh's head was up and her shoulders were high with no hint of fear.

"Now tell your men to step back or it will be brutal" Damien warned. He opened his palm, summoning dark energy, ready to destroy whoever stayed in his way.

"Stay back" Niamh told the royal guards and they all backed down, almost reluctantly.

Niamh took steady steps towards him, her steps low and brave.

"Fine, take me with you to Develdion" her expression was plain and her voice was decisive. Damien grinned widely and triumphantly, he had finally won her.

"Your Grace"

"Your Grace!" Nicklaus and Lucretzia rushed in. Lansel also followed.

"Step away, Your Grace" that's Marcellus, her knight.

Niamh smirked and stood close to Damien.

"I am leaving to Develdion. Do not follow me" sh circled bet arm around Damien's neck.

"You disobey, you die" she pecked his cheek. He shot Lansel a stare, she could see the pain and disappointment in his eyes. But then, Lansel knew that there are hidden meaning behind her words. She won't leave just like that unless she has a plan. But he's scared of loosing her to the devil. He needs to act fast.

Just like that, they disappeared out if a thin black smoke.

"Your Grace!"

"My king, we should do something!" Nicklaus stated buy Lansel stayed shut. It's like he's trying to come up with a plan.

"It's getting out of hand, your highness!" Marcellus added.

"You don't tell me what to do!" Lansel's angry voice echoed in the courtroom.

•Develdion•

Niamh and Damien appeared in the dark hall.

"Welcome to Develdion, love" Damien beamed, spreading his arms dramatically.

Niamh shot a smile, her eyes darting around. Everywhere was painted in dark deep hues of black, grey and crimson, each looked giving a sense of darkness and danger. Weird statues of the stood by the either sides glaring at each other and portraits were hung on the wall.

"You like it" Damien voice came again as she nodded.

They soon came across Ramiel, Vulcan, Azazel and Jezebel.

"Yhoo! The beautiful lady is finally here!" Azazel exclaimed and rushed towards Niamh.

"Welcome, Angel" he bowed and Niamh nodded in response.

"Thou art gorgeous! I can see the whole hallway lit up when you arrived. No wonder the devil's son refused to give up on you" Azazel added, patting Damien's shoulder.

"Flattered" Niamh mumbled.

"A face of porcelain perfection and a voice of the angels" Azazel stated dreamily. Niamh chuckled softly while the remaining shook their heads helplessly.

"Ramiel, Vulcan and Jezebel, meet Neev Sullivan" Damien gestured and the trio bowed.

"Neev of the Moon Realm, the Moon goddess" Ramiel smiled charmingly.

"Nay! Neev of Develdion!" Damien was quick to snap. Ramiel bowed his head in apology.

"I've heard rumors about your beauty, your more beautiful than I heard" Vulcan bowed.

"Welcome to Develdion" Jezebel added.

"Thank you all" Niamh bowed.

"Right, Azazel, stay with her. Jezebel, Ramiel and Vulcan, come with me. We need to talk" Damien stated. The four of them left, leaving behind Azazel and Niamh. Neev smirked satisfactorily, she had to act fast, she don't have much time to stay in Develdion.

"I should take you to your room, Angel" Azazel stated and they left.

"Where's Lucifer?" Niamh suddenly asked.

"Oh the devil? He went back to hell. Damien is now the Demon King. He's too cruel, I hope you can stop him from doing all the evil things" Azazel replied.

"Devil and evil goes hand in hand" Niamh stated.

And I shall end him soon. Niamh didn't say it out.

Azazel saw a dark glint flash by Niamh's silver eyes and quickly understood.

"You are not here to be his Queen, are you?" He asked firmly. Niamh turned to him with furrowed eye brows.

"I can see it in your eyes that you want to see the end of him" Azazel added.

Niamh shrugged her shoulders.

"How about that? Should I start with you?" She smirked, opening her palm and a silver light glowed but Azazel's next word left her speechless.

"Let's end him, I will help"
