~I love you, Lansel~
After two rounds of hot make out, Lansel fell on the bed beside Niamh, breathing heavily. After steadying his breath, he turned to her and pulled her closer. Their warm unclad bodies collided. Niamh's heart was still thumping hard not matter how many times she took a deep breath to calm herself.
"Are you alright?" She heard Lansel's voice. She looked up at him and nodded.
"You were so good, love. There's still more to come. I'll devour you whole" Lansel whispered hoarsely. Niamh bit her lower lip and buried her head on his chest, blushing.
"Slept, silver cat" he mumbled, shutting his eyes.
"How did your father died?" Niamh looked up and asked all of a sudden. Lansel slowly opened his eyes, the question really got him thrilled that he was tongue-tied for a while.
"The lycans. There was a war between the vampires and the lycans. So, the lycans wanted my father to fight a battle for them because he's a known warrior in the history of the six realms but my father declined. So, they planned to burn down and conquer the Moon Realm. Before they did that, we attacked and father got killed. The present giant pearly white gate of the far north was the lycan's kingdom, I conquered them" Lansel narrated shortly, he let out a deep sigh when he was done.
"What about the vampires then?" Niamh asked again.
"All wiped out. They caused the war afterall" Lansel shrugged.
"Sorry about that" Niamh muttered. She was drawing imaginary lines on his bare chest as she said that.
"Damien didn't make a move, I think he's planning something deadly" she added. Lansel tucked the hair behind her ear and replied.
"I have fought so many battles for revenge, power and wealth. I'll be glad to fight. A battle for love"
Niamh smiled faintly.
"Mother is doing great by teaching me my powers, I can be of help" Lansel instantly denied.
"No! Let the men fight. You don't have to..." Niamh captured his lips shortly in a kiss, cutting him off.
"I am a queen. I can protect my people. This battle is meant for me. I want to fight my battle, my war" she stated, her eyes brimming with determination.
"But I don't want to loose my silver cat" Lansel caressed her cheeks. Niamh only proved stubborn and continued.
"We have 20 thousand men and give thousand archers, we can borrow 10 thousand more men from the neighbouring mortal world, Novosel then you fight. While I, as the goddess can go ahead and purify all the demon-possessed men of Damien. I heard from mother that Lucifer came down to the world to rule for his own benefits so, there are no 'demons'. You see, my work is to purify them all" Niamh added like a professional Queen who have ruled for more than 20 years and knew everything about wars.
Lansel was speechless. No, he was tongue-tied and amazed. How comes she knows so much about the whole stuff.
"You'd really make a good general" he pecked her forehead.
"And once we're done with Develdion, we move to Witdexus, that forsaken realm that cursed your fifth grandfather. I'll make sure the curse is lifted without any of us dying" Niamh continued.
"Nothing is possible without you" Lansel cupped her cheeks. Niamh's expression dimmed as he said that. She suddenly remembered what the spirit of the late Moon Supreme told her that night. "nothing can be possible without you"
Lansel noticed her sudden change and asked what happened. She narrated what King Theron told her that night.
"I am by your side, we can save the World together. We will stand in front of Damien's corpse and smile at each other" Lansel cooed, patting her back.
"Let's sleep" he added in a whisper Niamh snuggled closer to him and mumbled.
"I love you Lansel" Lansel stiffened in shock. He never expected her to say that to him. Or rather, he was shocked because he never told her that before. Was it too hard to say? Harder than 'I'm sorry?'
Meanwhile, Aoife pointed the caller on Marius' neck.
"Are you sure about this ?" He was smirking, his eyes still shut. Aoife tightened her grip around the dagger.
"Kill me if you can, c'mon" he added.
"I'll kill you Mr Angel. What did you do with me?" Aoife gritted. He was stark, sleeping beside her. He knocked her out then, if what she suspected was true, then she'll surely kill him.
Marius opened his eyes ever so slowly, he was grinning dangerously.
"What do you think?" He asked. Aoife climbed on top of him, still pointing the knife on his neck as she gritted n
"Do you think you can take advantage of me simply because I chased you everyday? I'm not a wh*re!" Marius raised a brow at her. He suddenly got the message she was conveying. She was suspecting him of sleeping with her after knocking her out. Marius slowly trailed up his hands to her thighs.
His movement was slow and purposeful as he made his way to her behind. He gave her a light squeeze and smirked.
"Are you talking about this?"
