Chapter 69 - Chapter Sixty Nine

~Powerful goddess~

Everyone held their breaths as Lansel slowly unveiled the bride. She, herself was breathless, her head was lowered not wanting to see the prince's expression.

For a while, everywhere went quite. Lansel's breath hitched as he sighted who the bride is. Like he never expected someone like NEEV to be his goddess! That was surreal! Unbelievable!

Though, he stood stiffened for a while, his expression didn't change for a bit. Just cold blank mask. Neev stared up at him, her gorgeous long lashes fluttering up and locking he silver eyes with his sea green ones. Her heart dropped at the sight of the prince's expression. Like he wasn't satisfied, or rather he was displeased.

But then, her heart skipped a beat when she saw the prince lean down and pecked her lips briefly. She gasped shortly. The crowd went wild when they kissed, everywhere roared.

The atmosphere became cheerful and music started playing. Cheerful laughters, people hugging, butlers going round the hall as they celebrate this cheerful day. Lansel left the hall without a word while Niamh went to see her family. Like, she can't still believe the whole thing, she of all people is married to the crown prince! Thinking about it alone made her heart burst in happiness. It was her dream, her only dream.

"Oh dearest, I'm so proud of you" Serephina hugged her tightly. Niamh smiled sheepishly.

"Sister, congratulations!" Awn-yah beamed, she was dressed in a beautiful mint green gown.

"Thank you" Niamh smiled.

"How did you turn out to be the goddess?" Awn-yah asked again but before Niamh could reply, Queen Diantha appeared.

"Neev dear, I'll like to borrow you for some minutes"

"Ay mother" she bowed and left with the Queen. She went ahead introducing Niamh to the guest and praising her personality as the Prince's mother. They left the hall afterwards.

The Queen took her to her study to unravel the mysteries to herm she explained why she was chosen as the goddess of the Realm, how she possessed the essence of the multipowerful supernatural goddess, how she healed the demon-possessed being unknowingly and how she brought back her plants back to life. So, she wasn't a lowlife supernatural but a powerful goddess. The most powerful to be precise.

It took a long while before she digested the the new information. Though there are still a lot of things she doesn't know, the Queen will explain it to her as time goes on.

After that, they went back to the hall to celebrate. The rest of the day went joyful. The prince will be crowned as the Moon Supreme tomorrow and his goddess will be revealed to the citizens of the Moon Realm.

Aine was walking down the hallway when she sighted Severus. She smiled and rushed to his side.

"It's been a while Severus" she beamed, smiling brightly.

"Ay, Lady Awn-yah" Severus bowed making Aine frown.

"Why are you addressing me as Lady?" She asked.

"I have to, my lady. Lady Neev is now the crown Prince's wife. Her family deserves respect" Severus replied humbly with a bow.

If you'll excuse me, Lady Awn-yah" he left. Awn-yah felt offended by the way Severus acted. Back at the Calm Region, he was talking freely with her but now, she can't even have a casual conversation with him simply because he's just a shadow guard and she's now the prince's wife's sister. That's outrageous!

She was fuming internally when Lord Nero appeared, smiling sheepishly. Aine hissed and walked away. "Hey, wait up!"

Xerxes. Was sitting together with Lord Arthur, prince Caesar of Elvkinles and prince Aris of Revildia. Xerxes was calmly looking around the hall while sipping from his red wine. He was gorgeously dressed in an emerald green ensemble, his silver hair falling down his shoulders. His silver eyes were calm as the Moon.

Lady Cheyenne was passing by their table when she suddenly tripped and Xerxes' drink spilled on him.

"Oh I'm so sorry. I apologize My Lord!" She bowed in apology. Xerxes dropped the cup and stood up, glaring at her.

"That's not how to draw my attention. There are better ways, try harder" he glared at her one more time before leaving. Leaving her utterly shocked and embarrassed.

Lord Arthur gazed up at his sister and smirked.

"Poor you, Cheyenne. You could have simply walked here and talked to him nicely" he said. Lady Cheyenne fumed angrily and marched away.
