~Cursed~
"Eudocia" Drusilla called in tears and Eudocia slowly sank her knees on the floor.
"You two have been meeting up frequently, what were you planning?" Lansel's cold deep voice echoed in the throne room as he glared down at them.
"Mercy Your Highness, I never wanted to do it. I was forced, I swear it!" Drusilla cried, pleading.
Lansel crouched down to her level, twirling a dagger around his fingers and then slowly pointing it towards her chin. Feeling the cold metal on her chin, Drusilla shuddered in fear.
"Who forced you?" Was the question Lansel asked. Drusilla shook her head as tears unstoppable streamed down her cheeks. She knew she's in trouble, a deep trouble. She should rather point out the culprits or she'll face the consequences alone.
"I forced her, my prince" Eudocia suddenly spoke. Drusilla shot her a stare of disbelief. That was a pure lie. She (Eudocia) teamed up with Lord Dexidus and Lord Melchoir willingly. She (Drusilla) can't believe Eudocia is still hiding the masterminds.
Lansel averted his gaze from Eudocia, his eyes were glimmering with a dangerous light, showing them their impending doom.
Slush! A sound of knife cutting through a flesh was heard and blood gushed out on Eudocia's left cheek.
"Ah!" She whimpered in pain.
Lansel then turned to Drusilla again, his eyes were smoldering, a warning was burning within it.
"I..I will say it. I will say it, your highness" Drusilla stuttered and gulped down nothing.
"Lord Melchoir and Lord Dexidus were behind it" she spat out and burst into fresh tears.
Lansel sprang his feet up, he was burning in rage. "Guards!" He spoke and three guards appeared.
"Take Eudocia to torture room and Drusilla, to the snakes den" he urged and the guards obeyed.
"No, your highness! Please! Mercy!" They pleaded but got dragged away. Lansel marched out of the throne room.
Prince Dionysios and Lucretzia exchanged looks. "Is there a cure for the poison?" Dionysios asked, rhetorically.
Lucretzia didn't respond. Instead, she shut her eyes and stretched her palm towards the bowl containing the poison, chanting some inaudible mantra.
After a while, she opened her eyes and faced him. "Your Highness, the poison is cursed"
"Cursed?" Dionysios repeated.
"Aye. The Queen can only be healed by the new goddess' blood" Lucretzia answered.
Dionysios was quite for a while as if he was thinking of what to say.
"The witches are doing all they could to bring down the Moon Realm" Lucretzia said.
"We won't let them do that" Dionysios stated.
"The New goddess' blood" he mumbled.
"Lets not rush things, Your Highness. She should willingly heal the Queen. Not forcefully" Lucretzia said.
"Then that will be after Lansel's marriage" Dionysios replied and Lucretzia nodded
"The Queen is safe. Nothing will happen in this two days"
Lansel barged into Eldtrorse, clad in a cloak of danger, leaving a trail of whispered fears and unsettling glances. His sea green eyes like shards of obsidian, betrayed a malevolence that danced on the edge of the abyss, a dangerous symphony playing in the silence of his every step as he appeared in front of Lord Dexidus' manor.
The door opened revealing Lord Melchoir, his heart jumped out of his mouth as he sighted the prince looking all dangerous.
Lansel glared at him like he wanted to kill him the next minute.
"Your Serene Highness" Lord Melchoir bowed but a force swept him up, sent him flying and hit him hard on the wall. Lord Melchoir groaned in pain.
Lord Dexidus appeared on the scene when he heard the commotion. Prince Lansel threw a dagger at him and it pierced into his left thigh, he groaned painfully.
Marius and Severus appeared afterwards.
"Lock them up"
