Chapter 1 - CH 1 - THE COLD BLOODED VAMPIRE

Title: The Eternal Embrace

Ch 1 - The Cold Blooded Vampire

In the shadows of the mortal world, a being of darkness has walked among humans for centuries. Rudhir, the 200-year-old vampire, has witnessed the rise and fall of empires, the birth of new ideas, and the death of old ones. His existence is a testament to the power of the dark blood that courses through his veins.

Rudhir's story begins in the 19th century, when he was turned by the powerful and mysterious vampire, Kaal. For decades, he roamed the earth, seeking answers to the eternal questions that plagued his mind. He walked among kings and queens, artists and poets, and even the occasional serial killer. But no matter where he went or who he met, he couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness that gnawed at his soul.

One fateful night, he appeared in Dehradun streets for starting a new life. Then, there was a bus stopped. Rudhir's gaze fell upon a young woman named Roshni. Her radiant smile and sparkling eyes captivated him, and for the first time in centuries, he felt a glimmer of hope.

I. Dehradun Bus Stop

Roshni stepped off the bus and onto the winding streets of Dehradun's old town, her heart racing with excitement. She had just arrived in this new city, ready to start her new life as a college student. The cool mountain air filled her lungs as she gazed around at the unfamiliar sights and sounds.

As she walked away from the bus stop, she noticed a figure watching her from the shadows. Tall, brooding, and impossibly handsome, he seemed to be waiting for her. But when she turned to look, he was gone.

Roshni shrugged it off as her imagination playing tricks on her. Little did she know, Rudhir was still there, hiding in the darkness, his eyes fixed on her with an intensity that made her skin prickle.

II. St. Mary's College

Roshni walked through the gates of St. Mary's College, her heart racing with excitement. She had dreamed of this moment for years, and finally, she was here. The imposing buildings and lush greenery seemed to whisper promises of a bright future.

As she made her way to the administration block, she noticed a group of girls snickering and pointing at her. Roshni's confidence faltered for a moment, but she straightened her shoulders and walked on.

Inside the administration block, she was greeted by the principal's warm smile. "Welcome, Roshni! We're glad to have you on board. Here's your schedule and a map of the campus."

Roshni took the papers, her eyes scanning the schedule. She had a free period first thing in the morning. She walked out of the room, feeling a sense of relief.

Just as she was about to leave, a voice whispered in her ear. "Hey, you're new here, aren't you?"

Roshni turned to see a girl with piercing green eyes and long, curly hair. "Yeah, I just arrived today."

The girl smiled. "I'm Sophia. Welcome to St. Mary's. I'll show you around if you like."

Little did Roshni know, Sophia had an ulterior motive. As they walked out of the administration block, Sophia led her towards a group of second-year students who were ragging someone. They turned and saw Sophia bringing a girl, and their faces lit up with mischief. "Ah, new bakra!" they exclaimed, their eyes fixed on Roshni.

Sophia smiled sweetly, and Roshni felt a sense of unease. "Let's continue the tour," Sophia said, her voice dripping with innocence.

As they walked towards the group, Roshni realized she was in trouble. Sophia was not what she seemed, and Roshni was her new target.

Roshni realized she was in trouble. The group of second-year students, led by Suraj, were trying to rag her, making her uncomfortable with their teasing and taunts. She tried to free herself, but Suraj pushed her, and she started to fall. Just as all hope seemed lost, a figure emerged from the side. Rudhir, the handsome stranger who had been watching her earlier, appeared out of nowhere and saved her.

His cold, fierce eyes locked onto Suraj, and he warned, "If you're going to rag someone new, be careful of the consequences." Suraj, feeling threatened, tried to punch Rudhir, but he blocked the punch and twisted his arm, making him fall to the ground.

Rudhir turned to the group and said, "If you're looking for trouble, look somewhere else. You're no match for me." With that, he walked towards the administration hall, his handsome face and confident stride leaving everyone in awe.

All the female students stared at him, followed him, and tried to talk to him, but he ignored them all. Rumors spread like wildfire across the college, and every female student was smitten with him.

Meanwhile, Roshni was still in shock, thinking, "Crap, I didn't even thank him!" She ran towards him, leaving everyone behind, to express her gratitude.

As she caught up to him, she said, "Thank you so much for saving me! I owe you one." Rudhir turned to her, his eyes softening for a moment, and said, "You don't owe me anything, Roshni."

Then, his expression turned cold as ice, and he said, "I'm not here for saving you, get lost." And with that, he walked away, leaving Roshni feeling both relieved and intrigued by the mysterious stranger who had saved her.

Rudhir walked away from her, leaving her standing alone in the crowd. He didn't look back, his eyes fixed on the administration hall ahead. With a confident stride, he approached the building and pushed open the door, disappearing into the unknown.

The students around her whispered among themselves, still trying to process the sudden turn of events. She, however, was lost in thought, her mind racing with questions. Who was this mysterious stranger? Why had he saved her, only to brush her off later? And what was his business in the administration hall?

As she stood there, trying to make sense of it all, a gentle voice interrupted her thoughts. "Hey, are you okay? That was quite a scene!" It was her friend, Neha, who had been watching from a distance. She nodded, still looking towards the administration hall. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit shaken up."

Neha followed her gaze. "Who was that guy? He seemed really intense." She shook her head. "I have no idea. But I think I'm going to find out." With a determined look, she started walking towards the administration hall, leaving Neha and the crowd behind. She was going to uncover the truth about Rudhir, no matter what it took.

As she pushed open the door, she saw Rudhir standing in front of the principal's office, his eyes fixed on the door as if waiting for something - or someone. Her heart raced as she approached him, her voice barely above a whisper. "Hey?"

He turned to her, his expression unreadable. "What do you want?" She stood her ground, her eyes locked onto his. "I want to know who you are, and what you're doing here." Rudhir's gaze didn't waver. "You don't need to know that."

And with that, the principal's door opened, and a stern voice called out, "Rudhir, come in." Rudhir turned and walked into the office, leaving her standing alone in the hallway, her questions unanswered - for now.

Rudhir walked into the principal's office, his eyes scanning the room with a hint of disdain. Everyone was staring at him, waiting for him to come out and talk to them. The principal, a stern-looking man with a thick beard, looked up from his desk. "Hello, Rudhir," he said, his voice firm but wary. Rudhir didn't flinch. "Principal," he replied, his voice cold and detached.

The principal cleared his throat. "Rudhir, we need to talk about the incident with Roshni earlier today. You intervened when she was being bullied, and we appreciate that. But we also need to discuss your methods." Rudhir raised an eyebrow. "My methods? You mean how I stopped those cowards from harassing her?"

The principal shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "Rudhir, we understand that you come from a strong family, and we respect that. But you can't just take matters into your own hands like that. You need to follow the rules and let us handle it." Rudhir chuckled. "Follow the rules? You mean the rules that allow bullying and harassment to happen in the first place?"

The principal's face turned red with anger. "Rudhir, you may think you're some kind of hero, but you're not above the law. And if you keep causing trouble, I'll have no choice but to take action." Rudhir smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "First of all, Principal, I am not a hero at all. And take action? You think you can take action against me? My family will ruin you if you even try."

The principal's face went pale, and he looked like he was about to pass out. "T-t- threatening me, Rudhir? That's not very smart," he stammered. Rudhir leaned forward, his eyes glinting with intelligence. "Oh, I'm not threatening you, Principal. I'm just stating a fact. And if you keep messing with me, you'll find out what it means to cross the wrong person."

Then he walked out of the room, leaving everyone stunned and stock in awe. The principal's face was still pale, and he looked like he was about to collapse. The other teachers and students were staring at the door, their mouths agape, as if they couldn't believe what had just happened. The air was thick with tension, and it was clear that Rudhir had left a lasting impression. As he disappeared into the hallway, the principal finally found his voice. "Well, that was...enlightening," he stammered. "I think we can all agree that Rudhir is...a unique individual." The room erupted into a chorus of nervous laughter, but it was clear that no one was amused. Rudhir had made his point, and everyone knew that he was not a student to be trifled with. As the door closed behind him, the principal's face turned red with anger once again. "We'll see about this, Rudhir," he muttered to himself. "We'll see about this."
