Synopsis
As a committed Medical Technologist, Hana is firm in her belief in real love and welcomes the possibility that with time, she will find her true love. Everything about her life flows with her solid romanticism, from the gentle rhythm of her work in the laboratory to the tender moments she treasures with friends and family. On the other hand, Woojin a Cardiologist, is the perfect example of a womanizer, with his charm and allure attracting women to him is like moths to a flame. Woojin has a reputation for temporary relationships and a reluctant attitude toward commitment, making his approach to love carefree and arrogant. Even though Hana and Woojin have different perspectives on love, they have been classmates since middle school. Woojin's carefree approach to relationships presents a contrast to Hana's firm faith in love, which guides Hana's every move. This creates the perfect setting for a captivating story of opposites amidst the complexities of the medical world.

Chapter 1 - THE MED TECH AND THE CARDIOLOGIST

"Oh my God! Hana, look at the dark circles around your eyes," Jihoon exclaimed, genuine concern filling her voice.

Hana let out a tired sigh, brushing off her worry with a wave of her hand. "Oh, it's nothing. Just another night of binge-watching a drama," she confessed with an awkward grin.

Jihoon shook her head in mock disappointment. "You poor thing. Instead of wasting your time on those nonsense dramas, why don't you try dating for a change?"

Hana chuckled softly, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "You know I'm holding out for that true love, Jihoon. No drama can compare to the thrill of real romance, now just go help your patient or whatever." She replied, her tone earnest.

Jihoon pouted playfully. "But Hana, I'm on my break," she protested, acting unwillingly.

Rolling her eyes, Hana gestured towards the specimen in her hand. "Well, since you have some free time, why don't you lend a hand with this fresh sample? Consider it a break from your break," she suggested, a hint of sarcasm coloring her words.

With a theatrical groan, Jihoon reluctantly accepted the task, wrinkling his nose at the sight of the feces. "I hope this piece of sh*t brings you closer to your true love," she muttered under her breath, causing a laugh from Hana as she turned to attend to her duties.

As she busied herself with her duties, Hana couldn't shake the thought of Jihoon's teasing remark about finding true love. While she held onto her romantic ideals, she was unable to ignore the random loneliness that would occasionally surface during her late-night plays.

"But I'm already approaching 30," she muttered to herself, a hint of nervousness tinting her voice.

But for now, she pushed those thoughts aside, focusing on the present moment and the work at hand. After all, she had a job to do, and finding love could wait.

As the day came to an end Hana was buried in a maze of paperwork and lab reports. The hospital hallway buzzed with activity as doctors and nurses hurried past, their footsteps echoing against the tiled floors.

Lost in her thoughts, Hana barely noticed when someone bumped into her, causing her to stumble slightly. Looking up, she found herself face to face with none other than Choi Woojin, the renowned cardiologist whose presence always seemed to stir up a storm of emotions within her.

Their eyes met, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still. Hana's heart raced as she remembered their last encounter.

However, the warmth disappeared as soon as Woojin's familiar smirk crossed his lips. "Watch where you're going, Med Tech Kim," he chuckled, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

Hana took a break from his arrogant tone, her irritation bubbling to the surface. "Maybe if you weren't always acting around like you own the place, we wouldn't have collided," her voice filled with frustration.

Taken aback by Hana's bitter reply, Woojin paused briefly before resuming with all its intensity. "Oh, I see. The little med tech has a bite," he teased, his tone filled with amusement.

Hana narrowed her eyes, refusing to back down. "I'm not afraid to stand up to someone who thinks they're above everyone else," she shot back, her voice filled with anger.

Their heated exchange of words drew the attention of passersby, but neither Hana nor Woojin seemed to notice as they continued their heated exchange. Each word exchanged between them fueled the flames of their mutual hatred, igniting a fire that burned bright and hot between them.

As the intensity of their confrontation reached its peak, Hana felt a strange fluttering in her chest, a sensation she couldn't quite place. And as she locked eyes with Woojin, she couldn't help but wonder if there was more to their hatred than met the eye.

Woojin's smirk faded briefly before being replaced by a confusing glow. "You know, Med Tech Kim," he began, his voice softer now, lacking its usual sharp edge. "There's more to me than meets the eye. If you had only tried before, you would have known by now."

Hana raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Oh, really? Then I suppose I'm lucky I never did!"

A hint of a smile played at the corners of Woojin's lips, his gaze never leaving hers. "Are you sure?" he gave a vague response, before turning on his heel and disappearing into the crowd.

Hana was left standing by herself in the busy hallway, unable to get rid of the lingering feeling.
