Summary

The stench of bloodshed, the sound of clashing swords, and the battle cries of broken soldiers is something I'll never forget. Killing in hopes it would bring peace to our Kingdom Oh how, foolish I was blindly following the people I saw as superior to me in every way possible. Perhaps, in a way I learned from this experience "fate waits for no one, death remains a friend~"

Pitiful, I know pushed into a battlefield seeking another's approval how utterly stupid...

Unfortunately, this uneducated child was me. Following my father into war after just being recruited as a Kingdom Soldier, hoping to be acknowledged by him, to show him how far in terms of strength I've grown. Only, for him to be killed in front of my eyes no remorse shown for him proving my efforts to be in vain.

Soon, after I was to report back to the King, of our journey back to the Kingdom, by then I realized just cruel this world can be, mercy will be shown only to those lucky enough to even survive... some don't even get to fight for their honor.

I was of the lucky few who survived, unfeeling, and unwanted by any of my comrades. The King, saw potential in me I suppose, and my status was raised to General. I admit I was undeserving of this title I was never really shown respect by the other Soldiers.

"My King, I advise you to rethink this ridiculous request! We couldn't possibly have him be General?!" Protested the Royal Advisor with a strained smile, hoping to get the point across to the King without it being a sign of disrespect.

"Advisor, you know I value your opinion, but don't think we are anyway on the same level." He responded leaning forward on his throne making it clear that he wouldn't hesitate to kill the Royal Advisor, if necessary.

"Forgive my ignorance Your Majesty, I was simply making a suggestion..."

The King, grinned tapping the side of his throne with his index finger, acknowledging his power over the conversation.

"Your dismissed." The King, announced staring off into the distance as if in a trance.

"As you wish Your Majesty," He says holding his hand to his heart in a bowing position as he exits the Throne Room.

"How intrigued this is a Commoner, becoming a General, it's almost laughable~" The King, says with a snicker of amusement, it seemed oddly sadistic if asked the Knights who where inside guarding the King, and the Throne Room. Not like that tyrant needed any guarding anyway he justed wanted to see anyone who tried assassinating him be beheaded.

Not like it bothered me any, he wouldn't kill me even if he got the chance I was far too valuable he says. The chance to run away never came to mind I became too reliant on the need of approval from that damn sadist... My thoughts were clouded with delusion thinking he would one day save me from my endless pain, but he didn't and he never will.

Now, we come to the present on the run, a desire for bloodshed, and a damn good navigator by my side! Who is this navigator you may wonder? Well, if not my personal prison-...I mean companion!
