"I, Alphard Crimson, command you… Kill me".
His words, like spikes, pierced the heart of the angel, as she stood, right in the middle of the one going war.
The man in question, famously known as the demon lord of the burning legion, was seated on the ground, his back resting on a blood painted stone.
He had long silver hair, with red mysterious eyes that could hold anyone captive if they merely stared at it.
While right in front of him, was the beautiful angel, her light blade, aimed at his neck, while her golden wings complimented her silver hair.
Tears streamed down her face, while her eyes, copying the glow on the demon lord's, remained hidden in darkness.
The demonic eyes as they call it, a power known only to the demon lord, said to have the ability to command all things that stare into it, and even now, the Angel of light has fallen victim to it.
"P…please.. don't make me do this." The angel pleaded, the tip of her blade moving closer towards the man's neck.
The man smiled, "You and I both know, my death will put an end to this".
"W…We can end this here… bring peace back to the land without shedding anymore blood, you know this! So why won't you listen to me?!" She cried out, her voice choked with emotion.
"You really think so, but you don't know half of it," the demon lord replied, a small smile playing on his lips. "Until one side is gone, this war won't end, it's simply how it must be".
The angel shook her head in denial, tears streaming freely down her face, her heart heavy with the weight of their conflict.
"If you kill me, The Demon Lord of the Burning Legion, my subjects will surrender, their master has been killed, and they'll longer have any motivation to oppose you." He spoke calmly, his words carrying the weight of inevitability.
"All I ask is that you simply let my people live normal lives, even if they must abide by the rules and regulations set forth by humans".
"Uh hmmm, I refuse. I'm not killing you like this, Rahard. I am not… doing that," the angel cried, her resolve faltering as she struggled to meet his saddened gaze, her silver hair billowing around her in the wind.
"You are blessed by God, in such my demonic eyes are weaker on you, that is the only reason you are able to resist me. Riha, you have to kill me, your blade is the only thing capable of severing my soul." The demon lord uttered.
"Don't… say that," she pleaded, her voice trembling with desperation.
"This is not the time to show weakness," The demon lord uttered, his grip tightening around her neck as he drew her closer.
"With the power of these demonic eyes!!!".
His eyes flared with crimson intensity as he invoked the power of his demonic gaze.
"Noo!" The angel cried out, struggling against his hold, but her efforts were futile as she fell u
"I order you! Riha Lumberton, sever my soul with your holy blade!!!".
That was it; she could no longer resist the power of the eyes.
Her expression had no emotion as she uttered, "As you wish".
The demon lord knew it was time, and thus, he rested his back calmly and looked to the sky with an accomplished look on his face.
His subordinates, racing towards him as they all tried to save him from the ending he had so calmly embraced.
'Many will hate me… many will view my act as treachery, and few will understand the path I have chosen for them'.
He closed his eyes.
'But even still, I know, my decision was the right one… the end of the greatest demon lord to walk Ramses… Alphard Crimson'.
Slash!
His head was sliced to the ground, leaving only a headless body on the same rock he had rested on.
The angel, almost immediately, fell to her knees and broke down in tears.
… ….
Over a hundred years has passed since the great war between the humans and demons.
Since the demon's demise and the death of their ruler thanks to the help of the angels who appeared last minute, demons have been living in fear.
While some were able to live peaceful lives in hidden cities, others who dared to step out were stoned, killed and mostly sold as slaves to merchant and royal families.
The angel who saved humanity, was rumored to have passed away the same night of the war ending. No one saw her and no one was able to track her down, even her own subjects.
Because of this, greedy humans were able to manipulate themselves to the top, making sure demons who were supposed to live free lives were punished and killed.
But then… a hero was chosen, someone who was blessed by God himself to set the world right, a being so hard was welcomed by nature and the people he was supposed to protect.
Or so he thought….
"Oi! Wake up!"
The manly voice echoed.
Opening his eyes, the young boy found himself, lying on the ground, everywhere around him was covered in complete darkness, with mysterious bubbles flowing around.
"Look who finally decided to wake up".
Hearing the voice again, the boy instantly leaped up, reaching for his sword as he faced the man seating in front of him.
It was Alphard, seated on his throne with his fist under his jaw as he watched the boy.
"Funny you asked, I thought you were supposed to be smarter." Alphard replied.
"Answer my question." The boy repeated.
With a cold gaze, Alphard looked down at the guy, who had the same hair and features as him and then responded,
"I am the demon lord of the burning legion, and yes, I am you".
