Chapter 58 - Chapter 58

In the silent hospital, Tiwa's pleas to Pravat about getting up echo off the walls as the stretcher is wheeled through. Pity-filled glances are cast his way by everyone around him, but all he can do is cry and brush his thumb along Pravat's knuckles. He wants Pravat to remember that there is another soul waiting for him, hoping that he will wake up and bring hope to their future.

He races along the side until the nurse stops him in the corridor. Sobbing, he brings Pravat's hand to his lips and presses a kiss on his palm before he's taken to the ICU.

"Pravat!" Tiwa moves forward and halts at the door, raising his hands and beating it lightly before leaning his head against it. "Wake up for your baby deer, please," he sobs uncontrollably, fat, wet tears streaming down his cheeks as he struggles to hold his weight.

Kneeling on the floor, he cries while covering his face with his hands. Tears escape through the gaps in his fingers, unaware of Decha and his cousins approaching to help him up. He throws himself at the other omega in surprise, transitioning from sobbing to hiccuping with snot crusted on his face, red and puffy eyes, and messy hair.

Making sympathetic noises, Decha guides Tiwa to one of the chairs and tries to calm him. "Don't cry. We can't see you like this," he mutters, patting Tiwa on the shoulder. "Pravat is strong, so being his omega, you don't need to know from me that he will overcome anything for you. You know it for yourself. Stop crying and believe in him."

Tiwa wants to, but... His eyes turn to the ICU, eagerly expecting Pravat to appear as usual with his famous smirk, assuring him that it's nothing serious. But this time, Pravat can't just walk out like nothing happened. The memory of Pravat bleeding profusely makes Tiwa tremble as he holds out his hands and looks at the blood that was shed for him.

"Shh," Decha whispers as he pulls Tiwa into a hug, reassuring him. "I know it is difficult for you, but I promise he will overcome this."

"I believe so," Tiwa says, sniffing, then rests his face against Decha's chest and stares at the ICU.

It has been two hours since Pravat was taken inside, but no one has bothered to say anything. Tiwa is afraid whether Pravat's condition is critical or not, as tears stain his cheeks. He waits for the news until Decha pats him on the shoulder and gets his attention.

"Sorry for saying this, but we need to go. There is too much pressure about tonight's concert. We-" Decha murmurs against Tiwa's hair before pulling away.

Tiwa looks up, his eyes still brimming with tears. "I can't!" He blurts out before rising unsteadily and making his way to the ICU, peering through the glass. "I-I can't..." He brushes his fingers over the door, praying for it to open.

Decha places his hand on Tiwa's shoulder and tries to convince him. "I know it's hard, but I'm not saying this only for you and us. I'm saying this for him, too. We're not the only ones waiting for this day, and so he is. He has faced many difficulties trying to help you chase that dream of yours. You know that." He swallows hard, meeting Tiwa's eyes as he searches for the right words. "I'm not saying this to hurt you. I say this so that he won't suffer once he wakes up. His hardships shouldn't go in vain, and neither should your unsaid love story." He doesn't finish his sentence, as Tiwa begins to falter. Quickly, he reaches out to steady him, offering a shoulder for him to cry on.

Tiwa's mind races, processing everything that has transpired during their four-month tour. Each incident only confirms Decha's observations: Pravat shows more respect and significance toward his dreams than himself. It is evident that he eagerly anticipates this day, desiring for the world to acknowledge their unsaid love story.

As a supporting mate, Tiwa realizes it is now his turn to fulfill Pravat's wishes, as he has selflessly given him so much without ever asking for anything in return. Sniffling, Tiwa wipes his nose on his sleeve and nods at Decha.

Smiling softly, Decha grabs Tiwa's hand and pats the back of it. "Pravat will be happy with your decision."

Tiwa wipes his tears, feeling the weight of his decision on his shoulders. He glances at the closed door one last time before allowing his friends to drag him away. Each step feels like a stab to his heart, but he knows he has to do it.

The ride to the arena is blurred as he leans against the window the whole time, tears flowing down his cheeks. He wishes he could return to his mate, but something in him accepts everything fate has thrown at him. He doesn't know why, so sometimes he whines unknowingly, but his bandmates maintain silence and give him pitying glances until they return to the arena. They console him and help him move to the dressing room without any trouble.

Just as he is about to slump onto a chair, a familiar voice calls out to him. Looking up, he sees Achara standing at the door with open arms. "Sister!" He exclaims, running toward her and blabbering about the incident. Overcome with emotion, he breaks down and clutches her tightly, not even realizing that she is heavily pregnant and taking a risk by visiting for their homecoming concert.

Neither of them cares about the danger until his adoptive mother interferes once again. However, this time, his brother-in-law and uncle step in to silence her with a sharp glare.

"Everything will be fine, Tiwa," Achara whispers, soothing his back. "For real this time."

Tiwa perks up, "Really?"

She nods and reaches up to pet his hair before placing a kiss on his forehead.

Time moves slowly and painfully. Each passing second feels troublesome as Tiwa waits for any updates from the hospital. Restlessness sets in once more, and his heart aches with confusion, tension, hurt, and pain. He tries hard not to conceal his emotions on his face, knowing that he must fulfill Pravat's wishes.

Blinking back tears, he gazes at his phone and hopes to ring soon. Just then, Decha arrives and breaks the silence with news about their rival band being banned from concerts. The situation becomes even more complicated when Wasan's arrest for the earlier incident is revealed.

Hearing that, Tiwa replies with no answers except shutting his eyes and letting the stray tears roll down. Because it can't comfort him!

A few hours later, the moment everyone has been waiting for arrives. Instead of excitement, Tiwa and his bandmates are worried about the hospital news they still haven't received. Despite their disappointments, they promise to show pride to the world and reveal a beautiful, unsaid love story. Wiping away tears, Tiwa takes deep breaths and nods before letting them go.

He waits a few minutes until it's his turn to enter the stage. The audience immediately claps their hands, showing their support. Waving a weak hand at them, he gets in the center and watches them mindlessly. He doesn't know whether he can do it or not, but he hopes so. His heart beats frantically as the lights flicker, signaling that the show is about to begin.

Nervously, he raises the microphone to his mouth and tries to sing, but no sound emerges. His mind drifts back to all the pent-up emotions from his lost ten years with Pravat as he struggles to recall the lyrics. He remains frozen in place, desperately trying to unleash his emotions through song, yet still unable to produce a single note. Feeling helpless, he looks at his bandmates and opens his mouth to speak, but...

Biting back a wail, he peers at them between tear-beaded eyelashes. He then understands one thing: He can't sing, even if it's his mate's wish, because music comes from the heart, not the mind. Also, it's not just a song; it's their love story. So he can't just sing without him by his side. Realizing that, he drops his hand and lets the microphone slip off before gripping it tight when he hears a familiar voice close to his heart.

He looks up, his hope tinged with nerves. A drop of water lands on his hand, and he realizes he's crying in front of the world without caring to put on a brave face for the first time because Pravat, the love of his life, is standing among the crowd with the support of a crutch.

Their eyes meet—light brown eyes colliding with dark brown ones. At this very moment, Tiwa feels like running into Pravat's arms and wrapping him in his tightest embrace until he realizes it's not a dream.

Looking at Pravat mesmerized, Tiwa doesn't realize that his mate has bandages on his head and hand because it seems exactly the same way, or almost the same scenario, as when they first met each other after ten years. That time Tiwa was worried, but this time it's reversed. He can't hear the blabbering going on between the people because all his focus is on Pravat.

As he takes a step forward, Pravat stops him with a smile and lifts the microphone to his lips. Tiwa pauses, watching in confusion, until Pravat begins to sing, infusing the song with life. Finally understanding, Tiwa knows what to do next.

He lifts the microphone to his mouth and continues his verse, this time with the sound coming out smoothly. Smiling, he pours his heart out while eyeing Pravat, making sure their manager takes care of him well as he rushes to Pravat's side and helps him sit on a chair. Eventually, Pravat gets on stage and joins Tiwa to tell their love story by himself.

The concert is a success as they sing together seamlessly, their voices harmonizing perfectly. After the song ends, they lock eyes for a moment before the audience bursts into applause. Startled, they exchange smiles before putting down their microphones and embracing each other tightly, oblivious to any injuries.

"I was very scared," Tiwa mutters, pressing a kiss on Pravat's head. His hands move weakly, making their way onto Pravat's back and tightening around the shoulders.

"You know that is nothing for me!" Pravat puts confidence in his words that Tiwa feels in his heart, recalling his imagination in the hospital.

A moment or so later, they pull away as Pravat initiates and then turn to look at Jaran, who stands just a hand's distance away. Uncertain of Jaran's intentions, they exchange glances before focusing back on him.

"You win!" Jaran sighs before walking away, but Tiwa stops him by grabbing his hand and expressing gratitude. Jaran looks down at Tiwa with a smile and affectionately pats him on the cheek before giving them space to share their moment.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Tiwa lowers his head and starts sobbing, trying hard to contain his tears.

Wanting to comfort him, Pravat releases his musk scent around him and pulls him into a lingering kiss, making Tiwa feel at home amidst the loud cheers and screams from the audience. It's not just a magical moment for them, but for everyone witnessing it. As Tiwa melts into Pravat's embrace, he rests his forehead against Pravat's, eyes still closed, taking deep breaths to let every emotion drain from his body until he feels nothing but happiness. This is it. Finally, their Unsaid Love Story is said to all!
