The neighbors looked at her with pity.
She swallowed hard without another choice and walked away.
After talking to his mother, Romeo had left the hospital and he went back to the Hotel. He sat in his office and thought about what his mother had told him.
'...Camilla is a daughter to one of the biggest government officials and if she really wanted to marry you she would do anything. Look, if she finds out that you lied about your relationship with Trina, You will be in trouble..so...take my advice..'
' You must marry Trina as soon as possible..'
These words were driving him crazy.
" Why did I have to kiss her in the first place ? " He shouted in a curse and kicked his desk hard.
His secretary who was just next to his office heard the bang and rushed inside without a knock.
" Mr Walter, Are You okay ? " She asked with concern.
Romeo passed his hands in his face. " Get me some cold water. " He said.
" Okay.." The secretary bowed and left the office.
That evening, Romeo returned back home and found Ryan watching tv. She smiled and ate some snacks.
" This movie is romantic, Isn't it ? " Ryan asked one of the maids whom she had asked to keep her company.
" Of course Ma'am. " The maid answered and got up on seeing Romeo.
" Welcome back home Romeo.." She says as she went to pick the brief case from him.
He sat on the Sofa besides Ryan and looked at the tv.
" Mom, Can we talk ? " He asked.
" Talk about what ? " Ryan's eyes were still on tv.
" About what you said in the morning. " He said.
" I am not forcing you to do anything. It was just a piece of advise. " Ryan said.
" I know. But is it the only solution ? " He asked when Ryan turned to look at him.
" I am reminding you for the last time. I am not the one who told you to kiss Trina and say she's your fiance. Do you get that ? " Ryan questioned.
" I know, I know it's my fault. " He said.
" Aha.."
" Mom, I know you like that girl. And it would be a good idea If married her, But I don't love her. " He argued.
" Who said people only marry for love ? " Ryan asked.
" I don't want her to suffer. She could a man better than I.." he said.
Ryan smiled. " There's no perfect man for her. I think she is too good for anyone. So...i am just giving her the best mother in.law because I will treat her like my own. " Ryan spoke confidently.
" I haven't accepted though.." Romeo muttered.
" As long as Trina accepts to marry you. I will not need your opinion. Because you said it with your own mouth that she is your fiance. " Ryan said getting up.
" Mom...don't you understand how I feel at all ? " Romeo asked sadly when Ryan had turned around to leave and stopped.
" You know my heart is broken. And I cant love at this point. What will be the importance of a loveless marriage ? " Romeo asked and Ryan turned to face him.
He looked so sad and in pain while he said this.
" I don't want to disobey you. Nor make trouble. But sometimes I can't control my anger and pain. Mom...will please just give me more time to heal and...start over again. Can't you wait for me to bring you the woman i will love again, Incase i get the chance ? " He asked in tears.
Ryan gave a sigh and walked to him. She looked up at him as he was taller than her..
" My son, I understand you more than anyone else. And...I know what you go through and why you are forced to do some of the things that you do. I may be bringing Camilla as an excuse for you to marry Trina. I have seen very many girls that you have been hanging around with, i know Trina is much of a lower class for you but my heart tells me she is the only woman who deserves you. I don't know much about her, but...can you just give it a try for my sake ? " Ryan asked looking deep into his eyes.
" I told Trina already, That if you two don't work out within a year, You shall get divorced. And I will confess to everyone that I was the one who forced you two to get married. " She said and raised her hands to touch his cheeks.
" Son, Will you give it a try ? " Ryan asked again.
As the two had been talking, Candy who had come to call them to the dining table heard everything they were saying and covered her mouth in shock.
' So, Madam wants Trina to marry Romeo ? I thought I was the one marrying him. How did this happen, How did she change her mind? '
Candy asked herself imnery while the anger inside her rose to her veins.
Ryan was still looking up at Romeo when his stomach growled.
She released his cheek and said. " Oh my, You must be hungry. I am sure dinner is ready, Let's go and have something to eat.." She said holding his hand.
When Candy heard them coming she walked back silently.

Trina had gone back to their old house where she slept and woke up early in the morning to visit her mother at the hospital.
She went with prepared breakfast and carried changing clothes fr herself.
The nurse who had been left in charge left when Trina came inside the room.
She remembered the note Ryan had left with her.
' Today at 3pm, Should I go there ? ' She questioned herself.

Romeo was in his office when he received a message from his mother.
" Meet me at Hotel Cafeteria right now ! " The message read.
He looked up at the walk clock that was showing 2:50.
He got up and walked out of the Office.
