After discussing our tactic, we decided to split into groups of three and four: one would do the spotting and prepare the terrain, while the other would fight and capture.
To work efficiently, we thought of using two tamers for the fight part, as to put more luck on our side; that way, we were sure that at least one of them could activate their spiritual magic.
And to assure their defense—to reduce the possible causalities—two mages would go with them.
I was one of the mages, pairing with Vincent, the strongest of the group.
And the left tamer, who would be Meo, would go with Kiki and Mitia.
As soon as our roles were defined, we went our way. The'scouter' would go ahead and report, using magic, when they found something.
As for us, we had no choice but to stay put, hiding between trees to conceal our presence.
"I hope they don't take too much time. We don't have much time left." Began Danny, a bit worried.
"You're right, we only have this afternoon left." Vincent replied, unsure.
"What hour were we supposed to come back again?" Asked Mitia, peacefully lying on a thin branch.
I wondered how this one managed to do that without falling or breaking under her weight. I knew it wasn't magic since tamers couldn't do that.
Actually, tamer magic was quite limited, mainly boiling down to the magic of casting, marking, and attacking. As for the reason why, I don't know yet.
I wasn't very knowledgeable about tamers. But I am sure I will learn more at the academy.
"Before seven p.m. Right, Danny?"
"What should we do until then?" Asked Mitia, her eyes still closed.
"Don't know."
"Aaah...I'm going to take a nap then."
"Because it's not what you're already doing?"
"No, dummy, I wouldn't be talking to you if that were the case!"
"What about you, Georgia?" inquired Danny about what I wanted to do.
"I don't know. I will take a little rest too, I think."
"Alright."
As Danny and Vincent continued to talk, I silently waited on my branch, my back leaning against the tree. I closed my eyes.
As time passed, I found myself lost in my thoughts.
Again, I was thinking of my future history test. While I did revise, I didn't think I could assimilate the entire history program in four years.
Talking about that, maybe I should ask Sylvester to help me revise: after all, he was an honor student. And for all the work he made me do, he could at least do that for me.
-Aaah, what a pain!

"Kiki here; we found two beasts a little further east. One is level 3, and the other is level four."
"Perfect, send us your coordinates, we are coming." Said Danny.
"Okay."
"So, where is it?" I asked.
"Wait, um, around ten minutes ahead from here."
"Should we depart then?"
"Yes. Mitia, get up."
"Yeah~~"
Getting down, I jumped and landed directly on the ground.
I stretched a little bit, relaxing my feet a little.
Looking around, there was practically no sound. Even while hiding from them, they could still sense us and stayed as far away as possible.
I really wondered how much stronger I was to even instill fear in well-known arrogant creatures.
"Georgia, we're going; don't fall behind."
"Yes." I said this while slowly chanting—for the form—to channel my magic.
Just like earlier, I used magic to run and make my pace faster, barely touching the ground.
This time, I also activated my perception, permitting me to see far away.
It was such a formidable ability.
It was like looking into a distant landscape through a camera lens—so clear and beautiful.
Soon, we arrived at our destination.
I could see Meo, Kiki, and Ela hiding behind the bushes, barely being able to properly conceal their presence.
"Danny, I will stay here. I think it's better if we don't all rush there. I will defend from right here." I said to them, preferring to keep my distance to not startle the beasts.
"Are you sure? I won't be too complicated for you?"
"No, it's okay!"
"You can do distance magic, Georgia?"
Asked Mitia with our big doe eyes.
"Yeah, I am quite good at it, don't worry."
"If you say so, then we believe in you."
Vincent said this time, slightly tapping on my shoulder, "Take care."
"Thank you."
I hoped for another nearby tree, taking height to see the view better.
Under me, I could see the scene take action. I felt like an elder supervising her pupils.
-I feel so old suddenly.
Like youngsters injected with chicken blood, they barely took time before directly rushing towards the beasts, using their hard strength to dominate their prey.
If it were a real battle, with stronger beasts or humans, they would have no chance. They had no real strategy or method: foolishly rushing forward.
At least, they used a battle position to protect themselves, like in the training ground.
Vincent and Kiki posted themselves behind, chanting to channel their power, and cast a protective barrier before them and their teammate.
While Meo and Danny took an attacking position, positioning themselves as the fighters.
And Mitia was in the middle, preparing herself to cast an imprisonment spell on the beasts.
For this exercise, she didn't need to soul-bind them to her. She only needed to use a temporary tie to capture them before letting them go.
Our captured scores would automatically be written down on our badge and in our personal achievements sheet.
This way, we wouldn't have to hurt the beast to bring back proof of the capture, a practice banned in Gefya.
As for Ela, she stood behind Vincent and Kiki, channeling her magic to help with the healing process if necessary.
-They can at least do this much.
As for me, I was still observing them while taking measures, in case I had to help one of them.
But I wouldn't use my power unless they were in big danger. I knew they would be able to do a good job without me.
After all, they only needed to capture one to finish this exercise.
