Bella's POV
I don't know what to expect, but I need to see him to clear the air between us. I ring the doorbell again and wait, my nerves fraying with each passing second.
When the door finally opens, I let out a sigh of relief. But instead of Jameson, a woman stands before me. She's tall, with striking features and an air of confidence that immediately sets me on edge.
"Who are you and what do you want?" she asks, her tone cool and detached.
"I'm here to see Jameson," I say, trying to keep my voice steady.
She raises an eyebrow, a smirk playing on her lips. "Jameson's not here. How about you answer the first question I asked you?"
"I'm Bella," I reply, feeling a knot tighten in my stomach. "Who are you?"
"Cindy," she says, her smile widening. "Jameson's girlfriend and fiancée to be in a few weeks or month's time."
