Alynah pushed the door to her office and walked in but froze at the sight of her desk. There's a large rose bouquet and a lunch pack placed on her desk. She gently strode towards it as if she's scared or as if the bouquet contains a bomb, that if she walked normally, it will blast off.
Reaching the desk, she saw a white card attached to it. Alynah breathed out and picked it up, it's a message.
"Alycat, you're the sunshine that lightens up our office and I'm grateful to have you on our team. I hope this lunch brings smile to your face, know that you're appreciated. You deserve it Lynnie. Warmly, K. H"
Alynah was all smiles when she finished reading the message. "Oh such a surprise. Alycat, Lynnie" she giggled echoing the nicknames she read.
"K? Who the hell is K?" She seems to be thinking for a while but then shrugged.
"Whatever, you'll still show yourself in the future. Or perhaps, I might find out" she smiled and picked up the bouquet and inhaled it deeply.
"Ohhh, you gotta be killing me with this scent, darn it!" She moaned, shutting her eyes as she squealed.
"Hey K, whoever you are, make sure you show yourself and don't let me suffer because of you" she frowned, warning the flower. She chuckled at her own childishness and reached for the box.
Meanwhile, Kayden was in his office, twirling around as he watched Alynah from his laptop. Alynah had no idea that there's a camera planted in her office and Kayden is watching all her craziness! That's really outrageous!
Kayden chuckled seeing her crazy side.
"I'm glad you're all smiles, Alycat" he smirked. Evan walked in and Kayden shut the laptop closed.
"Sir, should I bring lunch to this little cutie too?" Evan asked.
"No need, I'm taking her out" Kayden answered coldly and stood up. Evan bowed and left.
"Let's go baby girl" he wore his jacket and picked up his phone.
"Where to?" Tulip asked, blinking innocently.
"I'm taking you out"
"But mum... Aunty Aly won't be happy with me of I go out with you" Tulip pouted.
Kayden smiled and took gentle strides towards her. He crouched down to her level and cupped her cheeks.
"Don't worry birdie, she won't say anything" Kayden cooed. Tulip smiled back and took Kayden's hand. Together, they left the office, taking his personal elevator.
"Hey hey hey" Su Yang rushed into Velvet's office.
"What again?" Velvet asked tiredly.
"I saw Evan entering Alynah's office with a lunch pack" Su Yang spat out and Velvet scoffed.
"You sure?"
"I'm very very sure" Su Yang repeated.
"Could it be from Mr Hart?" Velvet asked.
"I don't know, what about asking Evan?" Su Yang smirked.
"Evan, Ev!" The two meridian witches kept calling.
"Evan, we've been calling you!" Velvet said as she rushed to his side.
"What do you want?" His voice was stern.
"Uhmm. Just wanna ask if you know about Alynah's lunch surprise" Velvet asked.
"And since when did I become her PA or your spy?" Evan snapped coldly, glaring at the two of them.
"Uh...ah.." they stuttered.
Evan took a step forward, glaring down at them.
"How about I tell the boss about you girls eavesdropping in his every business?" He smirked and Su Yang's eyes widened.
"No no no, don't do that please. I'm not even accepted as a worker. I'm still an intern!" She shrieked.
"Velvet doesn't mind though, I'll have a good replacement of her position. I already have someone in mind" Evan added with a smirk and turned to leave.
"How daring" Su Yang mumbled.
"That arrogant dirt.." Velvet trailed off when Evan turned to them.
Alynah was panicking. She was all worked up and restless because she couldn't find Tulip in Kayden's office. She tried to reach out to Evan but couldn't. That alone made her more restless.
"What happened? Where's she? What if she goes missing?!"
