Alynah was busy in the studio when Emily and Mr Ralph approached her.
"Alynah, we've landed a well coveted client. They need a comprehensive rebranding and we gonna make this happen" Emily stated excitedly.
"Okay.." Alynah trailed off.
"Miss Grayling, we want you to lead this design project. We know you can do it" Mr Ralph added.
Alynah's eyes widened in disbelief.
"I'll surely make that happen! I'm gonna create an everlasting perfect design!" Alynah said enthusiastically, her eyes brimming with determination.
"Best of luck, Alynah" Emily patted her back and Alynah smiled. This is the time she'll embark on her journey as a true graphic designer. Her dreams are coming true. She'll spread her wings and let her dreams soar.
Alynah sat on her desk, drowning herself in the design.

~ONE WEEK LATER~
Alynah stepped back on her desk and scrutinized her design. She'd created a mesmerizing design for her client and she knew her client is gonna love this.
Her team members gathered around, praising her hardwork. Alynah smiled as her ears filled with her colleagues' praising and applauses.
~Few Hours Later~
The client arrived and Alynah's nerves began to twitch. She became extremely nervous and anxious as she approached the conference room. In steady steps, she walked in, holding onto her iPad and files.
In the conference room were the client, her design team and Mr Hart. Alynah kept her head high as she walked to the projector.
She professionally clicked through the slides, explaining her inspirations and choices of designs.
Wen she was done, the room went dead quite but erupted into a round of applause and cheers.
"Your team is doing great. This is surely what we're looking for!" The client stood up, applauding.
"But Alynah is truly a star! We want her to lead all our future designs" the client added.
"Surely she will. We knew she's special" Emily said, patting Alynah's shoulders.
Alynah smiled cheerfully. She's extremely happy that the client loved her design and she promised to create more of inspiring and creative designs in the future.
After the meeting, Mr Hart called her to his office.
"Miss Grayling, we need to talk" he said and left.
Alynah's heart dropped at his cold expression. Did she do something wrong? What happened? She gulped down and shot Lux and Kylie a stare, they all gave her a 'go ahead' look.
Alynah's heart was thumping hard as she made her way to Kayden's office. Her mind was racing with questions as she tried coming up with a suitable question.
After a lot, she took a deep breath and knocked at the door. She heard his deep charming voice urging her to come in. Alynah hesitated for a while but then walked in. Her heat was racing erratically as if a hammer was inside her chest.
As Alynah walked in, her jaw dropped at the sight in front of her. This is so unbelievable! It is surreal!
The whole of Kayden's office was decorated with balloons. There's a large board decorated with flowers and it was written "CONGRATULATIONS ALYNAH GRAYLING" in huge fancy fonts.
"Surprise!!!" Her team members beamed as they all appeared. Alynah still couldn't believe the whole thing.
"Wh... what's going on?" She stuttered.
This time, Kayden stepped forward holding some papers.
"Miss Alynah Grayling, you've come so far and we are honoured to have you part of the design team. Your hardwork, enthusiasm and creativity has paid off, we're promoting you as a Creative Director, effectively" Kayden stated, handing her the papers.
Alynah gasped, eyes widened as she gently collected the papers. Teas if joy streaming down her cheeks as she scanned the paper.
"Congratulations Alynah!" Her team members yelled.
"Congratulations, Golden Sparrow" Kayden beamed. Alynah looked up, her eyes teary, she was smiling. She's so grateful to be here. To have supportive and mentoring team. It's because of them she's here. She's grateful to have them all.
And then her boss, she's happy to work with him. He's a true leader with high potential, charismatic and proficient. She can't be happy enough to be working under him. Apart from PERSONAL FEELINGS, he's considerate, protective and generally supportive.
"Thank you!" Alynah hugged her team members as she bask in their congratulatory messages and applauses. There was a grand celebration in Golden Sparrow Graphics as Alynah was announced as the creative director of GSG. Thus, her journey began as the potential CCD of the company.
