{Author-chan: Welcome to a new chapter, dear readers!
I have a little update for you: my paternal grandfather is staying with me right now, and I've been taking care of him. It's been exhausting, and I haven't been getting enough sleep. Because of this, I couldn't deliver this chapter along with the last one. I apologize for that.
For this chapter, I decided to use ChatGPT to help with the writing. Let me know what you think—should I keep using it along with Grammarly, or go back to my usual process?
Also, what do you guys think about Not Another Teen Movie? Share your thoughts in the comments.
We didn't reach the previous goal, so it's still the same: I need 30 shiny gems by tomorrow for another chapter, or you'll have to wait three days. Honestly, I think I'll stick to one chapter a day. Writing two chapters is just too much for me right now.
Okay, enjoy the chapter! Let's get started.

I said while shaking hands with Janet, "Hello, Janet."
Hannah moved towards me and said, "You are the new owner of this company? Did you like this gift?"
I said, seeing her mischievous smile, "I liked the gift. Thanks for this, love."
Janet chuckled. "So, you're my new boss. I never thought I would see someone buying a company as a gift."
I smiled at that statement, thinking that the company was never the gift. "Yeah, Hannah is always full of surprises."
Just then, Janet turned her attention towards the woman who came with me and said, "I called you here because you are going to be Ms. Alexia's attendant and explain anything she wants to know about the company."
Lindy hesitated, clearly taken aback by the responsibility given, but kept a calm face. "Yes, boss."
Janet looked towards me and said, "Ms. Alexia, I assume you have already met her."
I looked at Lindy with a mischievous smile. "Yes, I have. But I did not catch your name." I knew her name from the movie, but I wouldn't say that out loud.

Lindy's Perspective
My name is Lindy Cromwell. I was born in New South Wales, Australia. I come from a rich but broken family. Whenever my parents fought, I would hide in the library. It later became a safe place for me, and the books in the library became my escape. As soon as I turned 18, I ran to the USA to study for my bachelor's degree, even after my parents tried to convince me not to. I graduated with good grades and got a job at a not-so-small book distribution company.
I woke up late today and was hungover. Shit, this is the worst day to be late. I swear I am not going partying with the girls again.
While getting ready, I got a message from my boss to come to her office. I heard rumours from a few of my colleagues that someone was looking to buy the company. I just hope I do not get fired. My parents are not supporting me anymore.
I was hurrying as fast as I could since I was 40 minutes late, and that's when I bumped into someone and was falling when a girl caught me.
"Hello there, love," I heard and thought, British, huh?
I looked over, and she made me a bit jealous because of how beautiful she looked. I mean, I am easily in the hot category. If you do not believe it, you can look in the comments to see my picture.
It felt like my emotions were on a roller coaster, like I was a teenager with a crush. I initially felt happy when she asked me out on a date, but then I remembered I am not a lesbian. But a small part of me regretted saying no, so I just rolled my eyes and smiled when she said the date's time and asked if that was good.
I felt bitter when I saw her kissing the woman next to the boss.
When the boss said that I was going to be Ms. Alexia's attendant, I felt conflicted about whether I should take the chance, which would help my promotion, or not. I decided to set my feelings aside and accept the job.
When I saw Alexia's mischievous smile, I knew this would be a long day.

"My name is Lindy, Ms. Alexia," Lindy said, trying to keep a calm face.
"Okay, love. Also, please call me Alexia," I said.
After that, moving my attention to Hannah, I said, "I got some stuff I have to do, so see you later, okay?"
"Okay," Hannah said after a goodbye kiss. I nodded to Janet and left, and Lindy followed.
While waiting for the elevator, I got a call from John. "Yes, what's the news?" I asked, knowing NZT was in its last trial. You cannot imagine what you can do when you do not need someone's permission.
John responded on the other end. "NZT-48 has been completed."
I answered with a little excitement. "Excellent. Make sure everything is secure. I'll be there shortly."
Lindy, a bit curious, asked, "What was that about?"
I answered, "Just some business. Nothing for you to worry about."
Lindy nodded, still curious, but chose not to press further.
That's when I heard her stomach grumble.
I changed the topic and said, "I am hungry. Are you hungry?"
She just nodded, and I said, "Let's go. I know a place."
She said, "Okay."

{Author-chan: Let me know how this chapter went, my dear readers. I only use ChatGPT to do finer touches, so you do not have to worry about emotions in the chapters.
Another thing: the Limitless Universe trip will be at least ten chapters long if we count the TV series. Should we dive into that, or skip the drama by not releasing NZT to the public? It's up to you, so let me know if you want a short or long universe trip.
Also, don't forget to read today's weird author's thoughts.}
