Chapter 16 - Chapter Sixteen

Aurora.

Aurora blinked her eyes open, disoriented as she came to an unfamiliar room.

It looked like the inside of a prison cell, only cleaner, almost sterile. It made her sick. The only door to the place was metal, black, and heavy, blocking out any bit of light from coming in. It was so uncomfortable in here.

She pulled her hands to wipe out the bleariness from her eyes, only to stop short when her hands hit something cold and heavy. More alert, she looked down at her hands and found herself bound to the chair with manacles, actual manacles locking her in place.

Her heart started beating faster, as the memories of what happened began rushing back faster. She had been taking a walk with Irene in the market, and then she was dragged and drugged, but she didn't pass out so she heard some part of their conversation. She looked around the room and when she didn't find Irene she began looking for anything that could help her escape. Nothing.
