Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: The Elixir Emporium's and Vitali Emporium

The young entrepreneur gazed at the holographic display projected before him, the Elixir Emporium's virtual shelves overflowing with an assortment of peculiar bottles. Each contained a mysterious elixir, its properties and price hovering beside it in shimmering text.

As he scanned the offerings, his eyes widened in disbelief. The prices were staggering, to say the least. He couldn't help but gasp as he took in the figures:

- Moonpetal Elixir (Common Cold Cure) - $10,000

- Starlight Salve (Minor Wound Healing) - $25,000

- Mythic Malaria Tonic (Malaria Cure) - $100,000

- Luminous Lungs Draught (Chronic Cough Relief) - $50,000

- Golden Gout Treatment (Gout Cure) - $150,000

- Frostbite Fiasco (Frostbite Cure) - $120,000

- Whispering Winds Elixir (Insomnia Cure) - $80,000

- Blazing Fever Antidote (High Fever Cure) - $200,000

- Mystic Memory Enhancer (Memory Loss Treatment) - $300,000

- Rarified Rabies Cure (Rabies Cure) - $500,000 ]

He felt a pang of disappointment wash over him as he realized that most of these cures were far beyond his means. The only ones that fit his budget were the Moonpetal Elixir and Starlight Salve. But, as he thought about it, he knew he needed to test the medicine on a living being before investing in a larger quantity. The question was, which one should he choose?

With a flick of his finger, he selected the two eligible options, and the holographic display zoomed in on the details of each elixir. He studied the information intently, weighing the pros and cons of each.

After some thought, he opted for the most affordable option: the common cold cure. Roman knew he couldn't simply announce, "Hey, I have a cure! Buy it!" He needed to test it, understand its properties, and determine the effective dosage. So, he reached out to Dr. Patel, a doctor he had met at Sophia's banquet. He dialed her number, and she answered promptly.

"This is Dr. Saanvi Patel. How may I help you?"

"Mrs Patel, it's Roman Vitali. We met at Miss Ross's banquet and exchanged contacts," he said politely.

"Oh, forgive my memory! Please, it's Miss Patel. How can I help you, Roman?" she asked, getting straight to the point.

"Well, Miss Patel, I'd like to request your expertise in a matter. I think it would be best to discuss it in person. Would you be available to meet?" Roman suggested, opting for a face-to-face conversation, perhaps with ulterior motives, but also with a business focus in mind.

Dr. Patel hesitated momentarily, "Uhm... let me check my schedule, and I'll inform you when I'm free. Is that okay?"

"That's fine, I'll wait for your call. Have a good day, thank you for listening," Roman said, and the phone call ended.

As he waited, Roman decided to focus on other tasks. He began registering his company, determined to make progress, even if it meant multitasking. He put his thoughts into action, tackling each task with enthusiasm and dedication.

As he clicked through the registration process, Roman felt a sense of excitement and purpose. He had finally taken the first step towards building his empire, Vitali Emporium. The name echoed in his mind, symbolizing his ambition to dominate the health industry and beyond, he chose to change the name as he wanted his family name to rise.

With medicine as his primary focus, he envisioned Vitali Emporium as a powerhouse in pharmaceuticals, research, and development. He planned to expand into related fields like biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare services. The possibilities seemed endless, and Roman's determination grew with each passing moment.

As he completed the registration, Roman felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. Vitali Emporium was now a legal entity, ready to take on the world. He leaned back in his chair, a sly smile spreading across his face, knowing that this was just the beginning of his journey to build a business empire that would leave a lasting impact.

Roman closed his eyes as he thought. He needed a car, but with his tight budget, a car seemed like a luxury he couldn't afford. He knew he would have to travel around for his business, and relying on taxis every time wasn't a viable option.

He stood up to check on Bianca, and when he got upstairs, he knocked on the door. She didn't respond, and he assumed she was still sleeping - a well-deserved rest after finishing school. He went to prepare lunch, his mind still preoccupied with the car issue.

As he made lunch, a call from Dr. Patel rang. She confirmed their meeting for the evening, and Roman agreed, making a mental note to prepare for their discussion. After the call, he continued making lunch, his thoughts drifting back to the car problem.

He couldn't afford a new car, and even a used one seemed out of his budget. Roman wondered if he could find a affordable option, maybe an older model or a car with high mileage.

Roman finished making a sandwich and sat down to eat, still thinking about his transportation dilemma. He knew he had to find a solution, but for now, it remained a problem he couldn't solve.

...

It was a warm afternoon, the sun streaming through the windows as Bianca woke up from her nap. She stretched, yawned, and got out of bed, feeling a bit more refreshed. She walked downstairs, her feet bare and her hair messy, and found Roman sitting on the couch, playing video games.

As she approached him, she leaned her head on his shoulder, her eyes half-closed. Roman looked at her with a smile, pausing his game. "Hey, sleepyhead," he said, wrapping his arms around her. "How was your nap?"

Bianca responded with a soft hum, her voice still husky from sleep. "Mmmh," she murmured, her head still leaning on him.

Roman chuckled and gently guided her to the kitchen. "Come on, get some food in you, you'll feel better," he said, opening the fridge to grab a snack.

Bianca nodded, her eyes still a bit sleepy, and began to eat the sandwich Roman had made for her. As she ate, she started to feel more awake, her energy returning.

After finishing her snack, she looked up at Roman with a hint of a smile. "Hey, Roman, how about we watch a movie?" she asked, her voice still a bit soft.

Roman raised an eyebrow, amused by her sudden enthusiasm. "Okay, then pick the movie," he said, gesturing to the TV.

Bianca jumped up from her seat, her afternoon slump forgotten. She walked over to the TV stand, scanning the shelves for the perfect movie. Roman watched her, a smile on his face, as she deliberated between different titles.

Finally, she settled on a romantic comedy and grabbed the remote. As she walked back to the sofa, she snuggled up close to Roman, who put his arm around her, pulling her in tight.

As the movie started, Bianca leaned her head on Roman's shoulder, feeling content and cozy in his embrace. Roman stroked her hair, enjoying the warmth of her body against his.

As the movie played on, they sat together in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company. The afternoon sun cast a warm glow over the room, making the moment feel even more intimate.

The movie ended, and Bianca looked up at Roman, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "Thanks for the movie afternoon, Roman," she said, her voice soft and affectionate.

Roman smiled, hugging her tight. "Anytime, Bibi. I love spending time with you."

And with that, they sat together, wrapped in each other's arms, feeling grateful for the simple joys of a lazy afternoon.

Suddenly, a thought popped into his head. "I wonder what Bianca's really feeling right now?" Roman thought to himself, his curiosity piqued.

But his curiosity got the better of him. He took a deep breath, focusing his mind. The Erom-meter activated,

Roman directed the Erom-meter towards his sister, Bianca, who was sitting next to him on the couch. He hesitated for a moment, wondering if he should really be doing this. But his curiosity got the better of him.

The meters began to glow, and Roman watched as the numbers started to climb. The love meter quickly shot up to 100+, and Roman smiled, thinking, "That makes sense. We're siblings, after all." But then he looked at the lust meter, and his eyes widened in surprise. It was at 2%.

Roman's eyes widened in surprise as he gazed at the Erom-meter's reading, a feature of the System he had won. He hadn't expected the lust percentage to be so high, especially since the target of the reading was his sister, Bianca. He thought to himself, "What? No, that can't be right. Bianca's my sister, for crying out loud! The System must be malfunctioning or something."

He felt a mix of shock, confusion, and a hint of discomfort as he tried to process the reading. The love percentage was high, which made sense, given their close sibling bond. But the lust percentage? That was a different story altogether.

As he looked at Bianca, who was still snuggled up close to him, Roman felt a sense of awkwardness wash over him. He didn't know how to process this new information, and he wasn't sure if he wanted to explore it further.
