Then, Dracula grabbed Lilith's hand as a forced smile formed on his lips.
"Close your eyes, little mortal." He whispered with a calm and reassuring voice.
As Lilith swallowed hard, she slowly closed her eyes, as if steeling herself for the unknown that awaited her. Her trust was still fixed on Dracula.
Dracula firmly held Lilith's hands, squeezing them with his as he also closed his eyes.
In the blink of an eye, Dracula materialised out of the forest in the whip of smoke.
Within the next few seconds, he showed up in the bedroom of Lilith Raziel.
"Little mortal," Dracula called out with his usual calm voice that was filled with warmth and care. "Open your eyes." He added.
Ever so slowly, Lilith opened her eyes as she adjusted to the brightness that surrounded her.
She had been in a dark forest for more than an hour so the sudden brightness of the room was a bit surprising for her.
