The clanking sound of armor echoed in the silent valley as Uther stood tall on his horse. His hands were holding his reign tightly while his eyes were looking toward the castle.
The spark of quiet fire was in his gentle sea-like eyes, illuminating the desire to rebel in his heart as he knew this was the end of his weakness and the start of his journey.
" No more tyranny, no more slavery, no more hierarchy, no more unjust. I will bring the flames to the damned and behead them with my ember from my sword.
My eyes and breath shall cleanse the world and I shall scorch them alive for my name is just. I, Uther will claim the head of my father and corrupt nobles. I will change this land and reclaim the lost glory of my land.
I will free ourselves from the shackles of the foreigners and regain our freedom. My men, my people, and my knights, today we shall start our fire. Unfold your wings and fly toward them."
Uther pulled out his sword from his sheath while shouting under silver moonlight, illuminating his sword with it. His looks were almost similar to those from the legends and he became the incarnation of the great knight.
The knights' breaths hastened under his sword and their blood was burning from the heat of revolution.
" Charge!"
The hoofs of horses created the thunderous sound of victory along with a trail of fresh blood. The cavalry charged through the gate with immense speed, heading toward the castle with arrow formation.
" Stop them! Kill these bastards!"
The guard captain returned to his post, trying to stop them from charging but no infantry would be a match for knights like them. Especially when they were accompanied by the most fearsome people in the north.
" Oh my, where are you looking at?"
The captain turned his stiff to find a beautiful woman with a bow but he could tell this woman wasn't a simple person because of her toned muscles and height. Moreover, she was holding a bloody short sword in her hand with a corpse next to her.
" Aliens! I shall kill you now."
He used his sword to cut Freyja who was looking at him with a calm face. Her eyebrows raised from her surprise when she saw the level of this man. He was pitifully weak in her eyes, lacking both strength and technique to back up his claim. Moreover, he foolishly charged toward herself without thinking of himself as a commander in this post.
" You aren't worth her time, weakling."
Magnus appeared from the corner with a bloody cape while throwing the body of the guard at him. He then walked slowly toward the struggling captain in front of all his frozen soldiers, picking him up like a child.
" A commander running in front of his men without any strength. I say you are the most foolish person that I have ever seen. Maybe you should have learned war tactics instead of rolling yourself in the money of people."
Saying that, he simply crushed his head to the wall and painted the entire wall with red. He then looked at the terrified guards with a cold face while wiping off the blood from his face.
" Go home. You are no warriors. I don't want to kill people like you."
The guards immediately ran after hearing his words, dispersing into different direction, hoping to find shelter from this bloody massacre.
" Magnus, you should stay clean. How can you teach your son to be more clean if you are this messy?"
Magnus scratched his head with embarrassment while feigning a cough to distract her. However, Freyja could tell his thoughts and acted like it was nothing.
" Do you think Uther can kill him? I mean he is his blood after all. In the end, blood is thicker than water. He is too kind for a war like this."
Magnus admired Uther's chivalry and his belief because he was the example of a fair lord in his eyes unlike his father but as a knight, he advocated justice and morality. Thus, killing his father might be too much for him.
" We will see."
Freyja wiped his face, saying with a light tone.
