Hermione: "..."
"Andy, are you planning to report Fudge directly?"
The young witch asked with concern. "I remember... your father works at the Ministry of Magic, right? Aren't you worried about how this might affect his career?"
"I think it would be better if we wrote a letter to Fudge first,"
Andy said as he wrote the letter. "My father? Hey! What future does he have there?"
Does Kyle have a good prospect at the Ministry of Magic?
Of course not!
If we talk about the ability to get things done... Andy thought that Kyle was still quite capable. If he didn't have any ability, he wouldn't have been able to maintain his connections.
But Kyle has a black mark on his resume.
During the time when Voldemort was wreaking havoc, Kyle fled the British wizarding community as soon as he graduated.
What kind of future can someone like him have in the current Ministry of Magic?
If it weren't for the small population of the wizarding world, Kyle would never have been able to work in the Ministry of Magic.
"Are you really sure?" Hermione asked in a low voice.
The young witch was still a little worried.
In the Muggle world, this would be like a middle school student suing the president of a country – something that couldn't even be considered, let alone done.
"Don't worry,"
Andy said. "Fudge is in trouble right now, he wouldn't dare to mess with us right now."
As long as Dumbledore was still the Headmaster of Hogwarts, who in the wizarding world would dare to mess with a Hogwarts student?
Just ask Voldemort, would he dare?
Even if Fudge wants to get rid of Andy, he can't do it until after Andy graduates.
Andy doesn't think Fudge will be able to get away with it until then.
Snape is already ready to cause trouble for the Ministry of Magic.
Andy is also lining up behind him.
By the time Andy and Snape have finished causing trouble for the Ministry of Magic, Voldemort will probably have been resurrected.
With so much going on...
Andy truly feels that only a bad luck magnet could be the Minister of Magic at this time.
"It's done!"
Andy hands the letter to Hermione, "Have a look and let me know if there's anything I can improve. If not, I'll send it to Madam Bones as soon as we get to Hogwarts."
Hermione: "..."
"Well...it's not bad."
Hermione said after reading it, "But it would be better if you could add some specific legal provisions to it."
Andy folded his arms, "This isn't a thesis. Those specific legal provisions can wait until I go to court with Fudge!"
"But I don't think there will be a day like that."
Hermione rolled her eyes at Andy and said, "Congratulations, you've earned another 10,000 gold galleons, which is 50,000 pounds!"
Andy slumped back, leaning his whole body against the chair. "That's not how the accounts are calculated. I can't take gold galleons and exchange them for pounds. Besides, Gringotts doesn't do that kind of business."
"As far as I know, the annual salary of a Ministry's Auror is only about 2,000 gold galleons, so this is equivalent to five years' salary of an Auror."
Hermione nodded, "That's right! Fortunately, Gringotts doesn't do that kind of business."
If gold galleons and British pounds could be exchanged at will, then witches and wizards could get a lot of wealth from muggles by using the Imperius Curse and the Memory Charm.
There is no need to talk about others, just look at Hermione's parents, who are also considered high-income earners.
Once the Gringotts opened the exchange business between British pounds and gold galleons, they would always face the threat of dark wizards.
"Speaking of which..."
Andy suddenly stretched and said lazily, "If you count the money I made selling the Basilisk, I've already earned enough to last me a lifetime."
"Now I won't starve even if I don't work!"
In his previous life, this was Andy's dream life.
He has money, family, friends, a potential girlfriend, and most importantly, he doesn't have to work.
Unexpectedly, the dream of his previous life has come true in this life.
And there's even magic!
Andy felt that everything was perfect!
Hermione raised an eyebrow and disapprovingly said, "Andy, you can't have that attitude. People can not stop working."
"My father said that if people don't work, they will become lazy, and they will become lazier and lazier. You will lose your social circle, lose your friends, and in the end, you will even become disconnected from society."
Andy: "..."
"Your father is right!" Andy agreed.
If this wasn't Hermione's father saying it, Andy would have spat a mouthful of salted soda in his face.
***
Woo-hooooooo –
With the sound of the train's whistle, the Hogwarts Express slowly came to a halt.
"We've arrived!"
Andy got up, stretched, and after moving his joints a little, got off the train with Hermione.
The Thestrals were neatly lined up along the roadside. Andy found an unoccupied carriage and said to Hermione, "Let's take this one!"
"Hm!"
Hermione nodded and then asked, "What are you looking at?"
"Thestrals!"
Andy said, "I can see them."
"You can see Thestrals?"
Hermione was startled. "I've read in a book that only people who have seen death can see Thestrals. Andy, you..."
Andy was also a little surprised. "I haven't seen death. Wait..."
Andy suddenly thought of the experience in the Death Chamber.
There, Andy was affected by the power of death and almost died there.
"I did experience something during the summer holiday," Andy shrugged.
"Sorry!" Hermione said apologetically.
"Andy!"
Harry and Ron had come over at some point, and Harry asked, "Is it okay if we sit together?"
Hermione got up and sat next to Andy, nodding and saying, "Of course."
The carriage full of four people began to slowly drive towards Hogwarts.
"Andy, guess who we met on the train?"
Ron said excitedly, "It's Defence Against the Dark Arts class, new professor! His name is Remus Lupin, a friend of Sirius and Harry's father."
So it turned out to be one of the Gryffindor Four Bullies!
Andy immediately felt relieved upon hearing this.
It has to be said that the Gryffindor Four were quite capable.
Not to mention James Potter and Sirius Black, just look at that traitor Peter Pettigrew.
Regardless of his character, he was able to learn Animagus while being a student, stay undercover without being discovered, blow up an entire street with a spell, successfully fake his death by tricking Sirius, and endure humiliation for twelve years by posing as a rat.
These things alone are enough to prove how incredible Peter Pettigrew is.
Don't let his timid appearance fool you.
"That sounds pretty good," Andy said.
"Of course it's good!"
Ron said proudly, "He's a Gryffindor! Now we don't have to be afraid of Snape."
Harry also seemed very happy.
Andy: "..."
Andy patted Hermione's hand to indicate that she should not speak for Snape, and then said, "I just hope he can finish this year safely."
