After leaving Mrs Bagshot's house, Andy was in a state of contemplation.
Andy was thinking of a question.
Love!
There was no doubt that love was indeed a type of energy in the world of Harry Potter. It was powerful, even powerful enough to defeat Voldemort.
Or perhaps even more powerful than that!
But then again, there is a lot of love in the world, and a lot of people have people they love, and they would give anything for the people they love.
Andy doesn't deny the evil of human nature, but he also never denies the beauty of human nature.
Because human nature is inherently complex.
In this world, people who know love, understand love, and have love have never been in the minority, but ... they didn't seem to be much stronger, no?
"Andy, what are you thinking about?" Seeing Andy in an absent-minded state, Hermione couldn't help but ask curiously.
"Love!"
Andy suddenly pulled out his wand and said, "Right, let me show you this."
After saying that, the fat cat patronus leapt out of the tip of Andy's wand.
"Your Patronus?"
Hermione suddenly became interested and hurriedly asked in pursuit, "Is there anything new about it?"
"I know, I know!"
Isabel finally had a chance to interject, she explained with great interest, "Andy's patronus is awesome, it can play games with me and can also use magic."
Hermione looked at Andy in surprise: that's it?
Andy quickly said, "It wasn't me who controlled it. Or rather, those are my subconscious thoughts, my Patronus can act autonomously according to my subconscious thoughts."
"Autonomous action!!!"
Hermione's voice suddenly rose, followed by a lowered voice as if she realised something and asked, "It, it can move freely? Is it really alive?"
"Well ... pretty much!" Andy deliberated for a moment and gave an ambiguous answer.
"Do you remember the state of the Peeves? It's not a ghost, it's a being born from the mischievous emotions of the students, combined with the magic power of the castle."
Hermione nodded, she naturally knew about the Peeves.
Andy continued, "I think my Patronus... is somewhat similar to the Peeves. It is a ... magical creature that was birthed from a combination of my magic power and happy emotions."
"It can grow by absorbing emotions that make me feel happy, just like the Peeves."
"However, there should be an upper limit."
Hermione looked at Andy's Patronus with wide eyes, "This is too incredible."
With that, Hermione pulled out her wand as well, but suddenly thought of something and put it back resentfully.
"When we get back to Hogwarts, we can compare the state of the Patronus," Hermione said.
After a pause, Hermione asked again, "But ... what does this have to do with love?"
Andy explained, "Love and hate are the two emotions that most stimulate human potential."
Hermione thought about it and nodded in recognition.
Love could make people give everything they had, and hate could dictate people to do unbelievably horrible things.
"So I was thinking ..."
Andy hesitated and suddenly smiled, "I was thinking that I should stay optimistic and positive and not let myself lose my ability to love."
"You're right, Andy."
Hermione hadn't thought about magical powers, but she agreed with Andy, "People who don't have love are lonely, they live alone in the world without the slightest attachment to it."
"It's a little scary to think about!"
Due to her personality, Hermione had experienced that feeling of being excluded, so she understood what it was like.
To be all alone in the world by myself?
Andy thought about it for a moment, well it wasn't that scary!
Andy cared a lot about his family, but if one day they were suddenly gone, Andy believed that he would only be sad for a very short period of time, and then start a new life of his own.
People, they were always so complicated.
"Let's go back! The days are short in winter, and it's going to be dark in a little while." Andy rubbed his hands together, feeling a little cold as well.
"Yeah!" Hermione nodded.
***
The next day, Andy took Hermione on a nice tour around Godric's Valley.
Wizards had lived here for more than a thousand years, and besides the houses in the village, there were also many wizard buildings outside the village.
For Hermione, who was seeing a wizard's village for the second time, everything here was strange.
Compared to the peaceful Hogsmeade village, the style of Godric's Hollow was a bit darker. It was full of mystery and some places would give people a sense of danger.
Andy also had a rare moment where he didn't ponder about magic, but instead had a good day of relaxation.
After all, school was starting tomorrow.
The third day of Hermione's arrival in Godric's Hollow also meant that Andy and Hermione were going back to Hogwarts to continue school.
Saying goodbye to his family, boarding the Hogwarts Express, and looking at the young wizards coming and going in the train aisle, Andy suddenly had a sense of being a world away.
Only at this moment did Andy suddenly realise that he was still a student.
This time on holiday, Andy had gained too much.
Not only had he learnt Apparition, he had also made subtle changes to the casting conditions of Apparition. Enabling himself to Apparate faster and quickly cast a spell to counterattack after Apparition.
Continuous Apparition was stressful, but even if it was only once, it was enough for Andy to avoid danger in a battle, or even to decide the victory.
Other than that, it was Patronus training.
Compared to the previous patronus which was only slightly animated, the current fat cat patronus was more like a true magical being. It might not have too much intelligence, but it could make some basic judgements according to Andy's subconscious.
As for the information type of harvest, there was even more.
The Deathly Hallows, the Department of Mysteries, plus other things, and most importantly ... love!
In just ten days of holiday, Andy felt that he had gained more than the previous semester.
And then look at these naive young wizards ...
I'm already figuring out how to steal the resurrection stone from Voldemort's possession, and you guys are still discussing holiday homework.
Heh~
Wait, wait, holiday homework?
In the compartment, Andy was originally reviewing the harvest of this holiday, and only when he thought of his summer holiday homework did Andy suddenly realise ... that he didn't seem to have written any homework!
"Hiss--"
Andy sucked in a mouthful of cool air.
"What's wrong?" Hermione asked curiously.
"Hermione ..."
Andy blushed in embarrassment and said in a weak tone, "That ... Ahem! First things first, it's not that I didn't study, but it's just that I'm too obsessed with studying, so I ..."
"Okay, I get it!"
Hermione gave Andy a blank look and spoke up, "Forgetting to do your homework because you're addicted to studying ... Andy, I think the professors will believe your reason."
