Chapter 314 - Chapter 314: The Staring Game Between Snape and Me

Andy's eyelids twitched. Could this excuse really fool anyone? Well... that's the truth. Andy really was so engrossed in his learning that he forgot to do his homework.

"So... Hermione?" Andy asked tentatively.

"Hm?" Hermione made a nasal sound.

"Can I borrow your homework for reference?" Andy asked cautiously.

Hermione looked resigned and opened her suitcase to take out her homework. "It's all essays, so you better not copy it word for word."

"OK!" Andy happily accepted Hermione's homework.

He took out parchment, a quill pen and ink from the suitcase. He took out his wand and tapped it lightly on the quill pen, which dipped into the ink and began to write automatically on the parchment.

This magic is not very advanced, but it is quite ingenious.

The wizard infuses his knowledge and will into the quill along with the magic, and the quill, having the knowledge and thoughts of the caster, can naturally write the essay the caster wants.

Hermione raised her eyebrows and sighed, "When I was in primary school, many of my classmates were worried about their homework. They would die of envy if they knew how convenient magic is."

Andy laughed and said, "Isn't that also the case for Hogwarts students? Besides, without a sufficient knowledge base, a quill pen can't write much either."

Not everyone has Andy's spell-casting ability.

Andy took out two more quill pens, cast a spell on them, and then asked them to write homework in different subjects.

"Hermione, I'll borrow your quill pen too," Andy said.

Hermione: "..."

After getting Hermione's quill, Andy cast a spell again, making the different quills write different subjects.

"Hoo-hoo-hoo!"

Andy was suddenly relieved and said proudly, "It seems that I can finish all my homework before the train arrives at the station."

Clatter--

The compartment door was suddenly pulled open, and the person who came was a senior class wizard, after he swept a glance inside the compartment, he was speechless, "... Excuse me."

"Want to sit in?" Andy asked.

While speaking, Andy quietly took out his wand. If this person really came to sit in, Andy would give him a Confundus Charm to make him get out in a hurry.

"Hurry up and finish your homework!"

The visitor said, "If we can surpass Hufflepuff's House Points this year, we Ravenclaws will be able to claim two consecutive cups. Go for it, little brother!"

After saying that, the person gave a 'bye-bye' gesture and closed the compartment door with his backhand.

Andy: "..."

Waving his wand to lock the compartment door, Andy shrugged and grumbled, "Speaking of the House Cup, it seems like it's been a lifetime ago."

"We had so much going on last term. Driving out Lockhart, exploring the Chamber of Secrets and the Room of Requirement, and fighting off Voldemort's dark magic item ... I can't believe we did all that in one term." Hermione said with a look of agreement.

"Let's hope next term can be a quiet one!" Andy prayed.

Hermione teased, "I'm afraid not, don't forget Professor Snape. If our guesses are right, I'm afraid Professor Snape won't be safe and sound next term."

"Don't mention that name in front of me."

Andy resigned himself and leaned back in his seat, "I just hope he had a merry Christmas."

Andy was actually curious how Snape had fared over this Christmas.

Would Voldemort give him a new task?

But no matter what, Andy just hoped that Hogwarts would have a peaceful second term.

With his best hopes, the train stopped at the Hogsmeade railway station. Riding on the Thestral carriage, Andy and Hermione made their way towards Hogwarts Castle.

***

The Great Hall was as bustling as ever.

The young wizards who had gone home for the holidays were happy to talk about their holiday experiences, and the young wizards who had stayed in school were talking about what had happened in the castle.

Walking into the great hall, Andy immediately felt a cheerful atmosphere.

There was a banquet today, and Andy glanced in the direction of the professors' seats as he walked towards the Ravenclaw long table.

Dumbledore had a kind look on his face, smilingly looking at the group of young wizards in the great hall as if nothing could make him feel happier than the scene in front of him.

But human beings do not share the same joy and sorrow.

When someone is happy, naturally there is someone unhappy.

Just take ... Professor Snape for example.

He looked a little too unhappy, a pair of gloomy eyes kept staring at Harry, not even giving Andy an off-glance.

Andy was a little surprised.

In the past, when Andy had taken a quick glance at Snape, he would always notice it first, before glaring back fiercely and giving Andy a death stare.

What was going on tonight?

How come there wasn't even an off-glance?

Don't you love me anymore? Professor!

"Andy, what are you looking at?"

Hermione asked curiously, then followed Andy's gaze, "Professor Snape? You're looking at him? Oh, he's staring at Harry ..."

Andy gave Hermione a tug, "Hermione, keep staring at Professor Snape with me, let's get his attention."

Hermione: "..."

What kind of hobby is this?

Maybe it was because Andy's gaze was too scorching, or maybe it was because he missed Andy ... Anyway, Snape noticed Andy and gave Andy a death stare.

That's the flavour!

Andy was a happy man and waved at Snape.

Snape: "..."

The banquet hadn't started yet, and Andy had nothing to do, so the only thing Andy could do besides chatting was stare at Snape. See if he could pick up some sort of brain signal and get a first-hand update on Voldemort.

The day before school started, Andy and Hermione agreed to go on an adventure together to the old Gaunt family house to find the Resurrection Stone, one of the Deathly Hallows, at the end of the summer holidays.

Before that, there were two things that Andy and Hermione had to do.

The first was to master several types of spells necessary for the adventure, and the second was to gather enough intelligence.

Not only information about the Gaunt family but also information about Voldemort.

Voldemort now has a helper, so in case he secretly sneaked back to the British magic world, and also hid in the Gaunt family's old house, wouldn't Andy just dive straight into the boss room?

This was also the main reason why Andy did not act immediately.

Being stared at by Andy, Snape naturally would not admit defeat.

He stared at Andy with eyes full of deadly intent and locked eyes with Andy across the room - if this was a comic book, the collision of eyes between the two should have already caused sparks to rise.

Hermione looked at Andy, and then back at Snape.

"You two are so childish!" Hermione complained.

"Don't be childish ..."

Andy whispered, "Snape's not an idiot, he's too obvious with his line of sight tonight. Him staring at Harry ... might be some sort of sign."

"You mean...?" Hermione immediately understood what Andy meant.
