According to Andy's previous speculation, Quirrell attacked Malfoy in order to take advantage of Malfoy's departure from school and hospitalization to re-enter Hogwarts through Malfoy.
However, Quirrell did not re-enter the castle through Malfoy but hid in the Forbidden Forest.
Then what was his purpose for attacking Malfoy?
It couldn't be simply for revenge, could it?
Andy quickly thought of something.
When he had passed a note to Malfoy during the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Malfoy had said that he would have a private exchange with Andy afterwards.
But this matter was quickly forgotten.
Andy had also wondered before if something was wrong with Malfoy, but just didn't care too much about it.
But now that he thought back carefully, Andy realized that something was wrong.
'What if...Malfoy had his memory tampered with?'
Andy ran through the whole thing again.
Quirrell was expelled, Malfoy was attacked, the Ministry of Magic sent someone to investigate the third-floor corridor, and Professor Down was attacked.
"Hmm..."
Everyone's attention was focused on Malfoy during the time that Malfoy had been attacked.
Although Andy hadn't investigated Malfoy, judging by the various traces, there shouldn't be anything wrong with Malfoy's body.
In other words, Quirrell did not do anything to Malfoy's body.
To this day, a few months have passed, and he believed that not many people would pay attention to Malfoy.
Today, Professor Down's attack in the Forbidden Forest drew everyone's attention to him.
But...what if Quirrell's fallback was Malfoy?
Andy frowned slightly, his heart was more or less in turmoil.
To be fair, Andy didn't consider himself to be a good person.
But the reason why Malfoy was attacked was indeed inextricably linked to Andy.
At first, if Andy hadn't encouraged Malfoy to oust Quirrell, perhaps Malfoy would still be carefree and antagonizing Harry right now.
Andy didn't regret his behaviour at first, if Malfoy had died, Andy would have felt guilty at most.
But Malfoy wasn't dead now, and there was still the possibility that he was Quirrell's backhand...
Andy frowned, should he help the boy?
"Hey!"
Andy sighed, I'm still too kind-hearted.
Andy decided to write a letter to Dumbledore, reminding him to keep an eye on Malfoy. As for what happened after that, there was really nothing Andy could do.
***
At night, the Ravenclaw common room was empty.
Andy pushed his way out of the boys' dormitory and waved his wand to light the fire in the fireplace.
Spreading the parchment on the table, Andy took his quill and dipped it in the ink, writing an anonymous letter to Dumbledore.
After writing the letter, Andy double-checked it again. After making sure there were no problems, Andy extinguished the fire in the fireplace and got up to leave the common room.
Nudging his body with his wand, Andy's figure gradually disappeared.
Making his way down the stairs, just in case, Andy was prepared to send the letter to Dumbledore overnight.
Ta-da-da-da-
Just after walking to the third floor of the castle, Andy heard a clear sound of footsteps coming from the empty corridor.
The hairs on Andy's back stood erect!
Ta-da!
The footsteps were getting closer and closer.
Andy leaned against the wall, pursed his lips, didn't dare to breathe, and looked down, the effect of the Disillusionment Charm was still there.
This made Andy breathe a sigh of relief.
In the process of moving, the Disillusionment Charm would have a certain chance of breaking. But right now the surroundings were pitch black, and the effect of the Disillusionment Charm was surprisingly good.
Even a great wizard of Dumbledore's level, with only the naked eye, might not be able to discover Andy in this environment.
Ta-da--
The sound of footsteps was getting closer and closer, seeing the person coming, Andy's pupils instantly contracted.
Surprisingly, it was Malfoy!
Malfoy didn't look like he was being controlled, he was in good spirits, with excitement and fervour on his face, wand in hand, strutting in the dark corridor as if he wasn't the least bit worried that he would be discovered.
Andy leaned against the wall, careful not to make a sound.
Malfoy quickly made his way to the entrance to the restricted area on the third floor, looked around, and then walked right in.
"Hiss..."
Andy sucked in a breath of cold air.
This was definitely not an Imperius Curse, even if Voldemort in his heyday personally cast an Imperius Curse, it would be impossible to control a person for such a long time.
To control a person for a long time with an Imperius Curse, one would have to cast the curse every once in a while to do so.
If it wasn't an Imperius Curse, then it would be a Memory Charm.
This was a magic that was even more terrifying than the Imperius Curse.
An Imperius Curse could at most manipulate a person, but modifying memories could completely change a person.
No one would like to have their memories modified.
Andy hesitated for a moment, but still did not choose to follow.
Andy wimped out, before being absolutely sure, Andy didn't want to risk his life.
A person who had died once would not take it lightly, he would only cherish his life more.
Especially since this world still had a magical existence like magic, Andy still wanted to live well and witness the limits of magic.
'Maybe...Dumbledore already knows.' Looking at the portraits hanging on both sides of the corridor, Andy had a thoughtful look on his face.
Touching the letter in his pocket, Andy thought about it and decided to go to the Owlery and send the letter to Dumbledore.
Hoo--
A slight rattle suddenly came from the darkness.
Shit!
Andy cursed and hurriedly stood against the wall.
A dark shadow came noiselessly from the distance, the wand in hand lit up with a soft light.
The visitor had greasy black hair and wore a black wizard robe, fluttering over from far away in the darkness as if he were a huge black bat.
Surprisingly, it was Snape!
Andy was even more afraid to breathe.
It was fine to be caught by Dumbledore, if he was caught by Snape, he was guaranteed to be deducted fifty points.
Andy didn't care about the deduction and didn't put the House Cup in his eyes, but Andy didn't want a social death.
"Who?"
Snape's feet lurched, his eyes looked around suspiciously, and his tall hawkish nose twitched slightly twice.
Are you a dog? Is your nose that good?
Andy didn't believe he could smell and leaned against the wall without a word.
Snape sniffed his nose twice and finally locked his eyes on the area where Andy was standing.
He pointed his wand at the area, "Who is it? Come out yourself!"
This is Hogwarts, so Snape was worried about hurting a young wizard, so he didn't make a direct strike.
If this had happened in his time as a Death Eater, he would have directly struck with a thunderous blast and killed that person.
Seeing that it was no longer possible to hide, Andy nudged himself with his wand, lifting the Disillusionment Charm.
"Collins?"
Snape didn't seem surprised, he was even vaguely excited, "Why are you here?"
Currently, the Ravenclaw was leading in the House Cup points, if he deducted a couple dozen points from Andy, wouldn't Slytherin win the Cup seven times in a row?
In the wizarding world, seven was a magic number.
Snape dreamed of the achievement of getting seven consecutive cups.
