Chapter 90 - Chapter 90 This Phoenix Should Be the Property of Hogwarts

Maybe it was a kindred spirit, Andy's biggest worry when he met Snape for the first time was not about getting Detention but worrying about being deducted points by Snape.

Deducting points isn't scary, but it is embarrassing for whoever gets deducted.

Andy can still remember what kind of days Harry and Ron had in the school after they were caught wandering around at night, each with 50 points deducted.

That can really disgust even the dog, going everywhere sneakily, even having to cover up when going to the great hall to eat a meal and wait for people to leave before they dare to go.

Andy wanted a little dignity and couldn't stand this kind of day.

"I want to send a letter to Headmaster Dumbledore."

Andy decided to be frank and honestly handed the letter he had written to Snape.

Snape took the letter with a suspicious expression, touched it, and then returned it directly to Andy.

Out of politeness, Snape didn't intend to peek at Andy's private letter, but that didn't affect his ability to deduct points from Andy.

The corners of his mouth were slightly raised, revealing a three-point sneer, "Collins, I didn't realize that the good student of Ravenclaw would also ..."

Not good!

Just as Snape picked up a word, Andy guessed what would follow.

It was nothing more than a fifty-point deduction from Ravenclaw!

"Professor Snape, I just saw Malfoy."

Andy hurriedly interrupted Snape, "He went to the restricted area on the third floor."

Snape's words were choked back.

He looked Andy up and down, the corners of his eyes carried a slight chill, "Do you think you can fool me with this little trick? Collins, slander ..."

"It's true!"

Andy interrupted Snape again, "I wrote this letter to Headmaster Dumbledore because of Malfoy as well. I suspect that his memory has been altered after his previous assault."

Snape always spoke slowly and in an even tone, which gave Andy a good opportunity to interrupt.

Anyone who has played the game knows that you should never use a skill with a slow readout when PKing, otherwise you will be easily interrupted.

Hogwarts is magical, Snape, as a professor, as long as he says deduction, the Ravenclaw's point pool will drop down with a clatter.

However, with his juniority, if he wanted to deduct fifty points from Ravenclaw in one breath, he would have to ask Professor Flitwick's opinion anyway.

After figuring this out, Andy didn't have any fear at all.

"Hm?" Snape looked at Andy absent-mindedly.

Modifying memories was Voldemort's speciality, and Andy was different from ordinary young wizards. Now that Andy had said so, Snape didn't mind listening.

If Collins dared to lie, it would be a night out, slandering a classmate, and deceiving a professor, a triple offence, enough to deduct a hundred points from Ravenclaw.

This year's House Cup would be a sure thing.

If Collins hadn't lied, then he, Snape, would not only be able to expose Quirrell and Voldemort's plot but also save Malfoy in the process.

No loss left or right, Snape thought.

Andy organized his thoughts, "As you know, I was the one who asked Malfoy to contact his classmates to get Quirrell out of Hogwarts. Malfoy and I agreed to have a private appointment when Quirrell left the school."

"But Malfoy acted as if he had forgotten about it afterwards and had little contact with me."

"You even warned me to watch out for Quirrell the time Malfoy was attacked. I guessed that Senior Malfoy would take Malfoy to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries to recuperate, thus allowing Quirrell to take advantage of the opportunity to infiltrate Hogwarts."

"But it was only after this attack on Professor Down that we realized something was wrong."

Andy said seriously, "So I immediately wrote a letter to Headmaster Dumbledore, to remind him to pay attention to Malfoy. I didn't expect to run into Malfoy just as I arrived at the third floor."

Snape's face was grim and uncertain, "You said Malfoy went to the restricted area on the third floor?"

"Yes!" Andy nodded.

Snape frowned slightly.

When Malfoy re-entered the school after Christmas break, Snape personally checked Malfoy's luggage, as well as Malfoy himself, and did not find anything amiss at the time.

Then he had learned from Dumbledore that Hagrid had reported an anomaly in the Forbidden Forest.

It was almost an explicit message: that Quirrell was hiding in the Forbidden Forest!

As the months passed, both Dumbledore and Snape had somewhat neglected Malfoy.

They even thought that the attack on Malfoy was just a retaliatory action by Quirrell.

But what if the movement in the Forbidden Forest and the attack on Down were both Quirrell's means of attracting attention?

Snape didn't dare to be careless, "There's no need to send a letter, you go directly to the Headmaster's office, the password is: Cockroach Clusters."

After saying that, Snape also didn't care about Andy, and hurriedly walked into the restricted corridor on the third floor.

Andy: "..."

What the hell kind of password is this?

Seeing Snape's robes disappear around the corner of the corridor, Andy was instantly relieved.

There were still excuses to deal with being caught on a night out, but if Snape asked what 'SB' meant, Andy really didn't know how to answer him.

He only hoped that time would wash it all away.

The Headmaster's office was on the seventh floor of the castle, and Andy had to climb the stairs again.

The entrance to the Headmaster's office was a strangely ugly gargoyle statue, Andy stood up at the entrance, "Cockroach Clusters!"

Click!

The stone statue jumped aside and the wall behind it cracked in half.

Andy stepped inside and rode the magic stairs to an oak door.

Thump!

Andy knocked politely on the door.

"Come in!" An old and tired voice sounded from inside the room.

Andy pushed the door and walked in.

The Headmaster's office was a spacious, beautiful, circular room that was illuminated with crystals and sapphires, and the room was as bright as day.

The mahogany bookshelves that took up one wall held many magic books, and on the other wall, there were portraits of the successive Headmaster.

In addition to that, the Headmaster's office also contained many alchemy items, which were worth a lot of money just by the look of them.

There was also a cabinet in the room, which held the Sorting Hat on its shelf.

On the left front of the Headmaster's desk, there was also a tall gilded perch on which a phoenix was standing lazily, curiously surveying Andy.

When I become the Headmaster, all this will be mine.

Andy gazed at it with some longing.

"Headmaster Dumbledore, still up this late." Andy greeted as usual.

"Mr. Collins, aren't you also not asleep?" Dumbledore looked at Andy with a kind gaze.

"I was going to send you a letter, but I met Malfoy on the third floor, and I also met Professor Snape ...," Andy briefly explained his intentions.

Dumbledore immediately became serious.

He stood up from his chair, first circled around the office twice, and then looked sharply at Andy, "Collins, you stay here, I'm going to the third floor to have a look."

"Okay!"

Andy answered first and was about to ask if he could go back to his dormitory when he saw the phoenix flapping its wings and flying to Dumbledore's shoulder, and with a flash of fire, the one person and one bird instantly disappeared.

'This phoenix, it should be the property of Hogwarts, right?'

Andy's eyes grew feverish for the Headmaster's position.
