When they walked into Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop, the corners of Andy's mouth unconsciously twitched.
The teahouse's space was small and confined, and the decorations inside were all very tacky and lacy, and the small round table placed in the store was even more ordinary, and didn't look the slightest bit distinctive.
Who told me this is a dating spot?
Even the milk tea store down the street would look better than this place, not to mention the upscale cafés of the muggles.
Hermione seemed to be very happy, though.
It was the first time she had ever come to eat at a small store run by a wizard.
In Hermione's eyes, this small store was full of wizard flavour, that is, it was a bit romantic and full of mystery at the same time.
"What would you two like to eat?" Madam Puddifoot approached, obese and with shiny black hair in a bun on the back of her head.
"Rose butter cookie with two cups of fruit tea. Thanks!" Andy said.
"Twenty Sickles!" Madam Puddifoot said.
So expensive?
Before Andy could voice his query, Madam Puddifoot spoke up, "The meal you ordered is only twelve Sickles, and as for the remaining eight Sickles - it's for me to keep my mouth shut about seeing two young first-year wizards sneaking out of Hogwarts."
That's a pretty low hush-money price to pay, then.
Hermione was a little nervous, and she was tempted to argue with Madam Puddifoot. But the thought that she and Andy had sneaked out of the school didn't give the young witch much of a reason to do so.
"Ma'am, don't you think it's a bit of a waste to leave that wall vacant?"
Andy smiled and pointed at a wall, "You can build a wishing wall there, for example - let people write down their wishes and stick them on the wall."
"Not a bad idea."
Madam Puddifoot looked a little happy, and she said in a very elegant manner, "Your consumption today is free of charge."
"Thank you, ma'am."
Andy readily accepted the good news, "Then we'll have two rose butter cookies."
Madam Puddifoot: "..."
"You're a resourceful little wizard." Madam Puddifoot grinned and seemed to be in a good mood.
The cookies weren't expensive, and Madam Puddifoot served Andy three of them, one of which was for Andy to pack up and take back with him.
"Happy birthday, Hermione." Andy picked up the fruit tea and touched it with Hermione's.
"Thanks!"
Hermione took a sip of her fruit tea and asked curiously, "How did you find that secret passage?"
"George and Fred found it," Andy said.
Hermione looked at Andy with wry eyes, why do you push everything onto George and Fred?
Did they offend you?
"It's really them!"
Andy beckoned for Hermione to come closer, "I traded Professor Snape's secret with them."
Hermione was puzzled, "What secrets does Professor Snape have?"
"Well...it's Professor Snape's reputation that's at stake, you can't tell anyone else," Andy said seriously.
Hermione was quick to promise, "I'll be sure to keep it a secret."
"Professor Snape is a Slytherin, and he went to school at a time when Voldemort was at his peak."
Andy lowered his voice, "It's rumoured that Snape once tried to bring a Gryffindor girl into the Death Eater camp, trying to divide Gryffindor."
"Huh?"
Hermione exclaimed in a low voice, "You're saying that Professor Snape is - a Death Eater?"
"I suppose not?"
Andy spread his hands, "I don't think Dumbledore would let Death Eaters teach in the school!"
"Fair enough!"
Hermione nodded, "Maybe Professor Snape ended up reforming. Maybe he was reformed by that Gryffindor girl."
"He's single!" Andy got right to the point.
"Maybe they didn't get together." Hermione speculated.
"That is true too!"
Andy complained, "What girl would like Snape? Look at that image of him and look at that hair - I bet Professor Snape washes his hair once a month at most."
"What kind of person would talk about a professor like that!"
Hermione gave Andy a blank look, then said, "My guess is six months."
"That's too long, isn't it?" Andy had an exaggerated expression on his face.
Time flew by between the jokes and laughter.
Although Hogsmeade had quite a few stores, the only ones that were suitable for young wizards were Zonko's Joke Shop, and the Honeydukes Candy House.
Andy brought Hermione to buy quite a few candies and Zonko's joke products.
The candies here were all enchanted and had quite a few funny responses when they were eaten. Zonko's joke products were also fun, and they were all gadgets used for pranks.
Honeydukes's Candy Shop.
"Hermione, let's go back, it's almost two o'clock." Andy winked at Hermione.
Hermione quickly understood.
The two found a corner in the Honeydukes Candy Shop, then Andy cast a Disillusionment Charm to make the two invisible.
When the owner, Mr. Flume, wasn't looking, Andy and Hermione quickly slipped into the cellar and returned to Hogwarts through a secret passage.
"Hogsmeade was kinda fun."
Hermione said with great delight, "Andy, what's your village like?"
"Ours, huh?"
Andy thought for a moment and said, "St. Catchpole village doesn't have that many stores, but there's a forest near the village where a lot of magical creatures live."
"Speaking of which, if you get a chance later, you can take me to the muggle world!"
Hermione nodded, "Sure! The muggle world has a lot of fun places too, I can take you to the amusement park."
As they spoke, the two arrived at the Transfiguration classroom.
The Ravenclaw has a Transfiguration and a Defense Against the Dark Arts class in the afternoon and a History of Magic class in the evening.
With the exception of History of Magic, they were all classes that Andy preferred.
Ravenclaw's Transfiguration class was held together with a Gryffindor. So when Andy walked into the classroom, he saw Ron winking towards him.
"You find your seat first."
Andy said to Hermione before walking over to Ron and Harry, "Ron, what's up?"
Ron lowered his voice and said mysteriously, "Andy, do you remember that thing?"
"What?" Andy froze.
Ron mouthed the word, "It's Malfoy."
Andy: "..."
"You guys beat him up?" Andy asked.
Ron and Harry nodded together and Ron said, "We were going to ask you to come with us, but you left so fast, we couldn't find you anywhere."
Andy breathed a sigh of relief, thankfully he had run away quickly.
"Uh, nothing serious happened?" Andy made sure.
"No!"
Harry shook his head, "We just wanted to teach him a lesson, didn't intend to hit him too hard."
"So you guys were looking for me...?" Andy frowned.
Ron said with an excited look on his face, "We were just letting you know, as this was a joint plan between the three of us!"
Then should I have to thank you for that?
"It's an operation that you two pulled off."
Andy sighed, then waved his hand, "Gotta go!"
