Chapter 465 - Chapter 465 The Weight of Destiny and Time Node

"It's Peter!"

As soon as Peter Pettigrew appeared, Harry could no longer sit still.

"Where is this?" Harry asked anxiously.

"Harry, calm down," Andy said.

The image in the crystal ball continued to change, and after Peter Pettigrew had looked around the room twice, he disappeared from the image using the Apparition spell.

That was the end of the image.

The white mist in the crystal ball gradually faded and finally slowly disappeared.

After a moment of silence, Hermione spoke first, "He ran away."

"Where did he go?"

Harry felt reluctant and asked, "Andy, do another divination; I want to know where Peter went!"

Andy glanced at Harry and shook his head, explaining, "It's useless, Harry! Divination is not omnipotent. I don't know Peter well enough to divine much information."

If Andy's talent point in Divination was higher, it would not be impossible to directly divine.

Unfortunately, Andy's talent in Divination was only level 3... Limited by his talent, Andy's divination was actually very poor.

The reason why he was able to divine Peter Pettigrew's whereabouts this time was also due to Harry's connection with Peter Pettigrew—Harry hated Peter, and Peter was a friend of Harry's father.

Most importantly, Peter was there for Harry.

Without this relationship, it would be difficult for Andy to predict someone's fate out of thin air.

"How will you know if you don't try?" Harry said stubbornly.

Andy ignored him and thought for a moment before replying, "If you had paid attention in Divination class, you wouldn't have to ask such a question."

Harry's face flushed red.

Ron was unusually clever for once and asked, "Andy, Peter has been in my family for thirteen years. If you use me to divine, will you get more accurate information?"

"In theory, yes."

Andy nodded and explained, "But Peter didn't come for you, and...he came with Voldemort's mission."

Hearing the name 'Voldemort', Ron's face suddenly turned pale.

"What does this have to do with Voldemort's mission?" Harry asked curiously.

This time, it was Hermione who answered, "In this world, everyone's destiny weighs differently."

"Individual changes can affect world developments. Some people have a huge influence in the world, and every action they take can affect world trends."

"And some people, even if they make important decisions, can only affect themselves and a few people around them."

Hermione concluded, "Voldemort is a person with a huge influence, and it is difficult to divine anything related to him."

"Maybe Professor Trelawney can do it, but Andy can't do it yet."

Hearing this, Andy couldn't help but complain, "Hermione, you didn't have to say that last sentence."

Hermione gave Andy a cold stare: Wasn't what I said the truth?

"Even Professor Trelawney can only do divinations for Voldemort under certain circumstances."

Andy explained, "And most of the information obtained is also ambiguous and difficult to understand."

At this point, Andy suddenly changed the subject. "The image seen in the crystal ball is the future. It might take place half an hour or ten minutes from now on..."

"But...we don't know where that room is."

Harry's whole body seemed to be shrouded in depression upon hearing this.

If there had been no hope from the beginning, it would actually have been better.

The most terrifying thing was that, although hope was clearly seen, when one approached it, that person would suddenly discover that the so-called hope was actually an illusory false hope.

For a moment, the four of them fell silent.

"Andy, maybe we can try divining something else."

Hermione suddenly said. "If Peter is here on Voldemort's orders, and he wants to do something to Potter... can we try divining Potter's future?"

Andy raised an eyebrow and said, "Not a bad idea; I think we can try."

"Let's do it!" Harry didn't hesitate.

After seeing Peter himself, Harry simply couldn't calm down.

Just thinking about that scene made Harry hate his own weakness and powerlessness—even after seeing Peter Pettigrew, he was unable to avenge his parents.

In fact... if Peter Pettigrew hadn't wanted to kill him, Harry would probably be dead by now.

Andy sat back down and then said to Harry, "Harry, place your hand on the crystal ball and think about Peter appearing before you."

"Remember, don't think of anything else, and don't think of revenge. You just need to imagine Peter's figure. You see him, and that's when you meet again..."

"Okay!" Harry nodded solemnly.

The second divination quickly came to an end, and a white mist appeared in the crystal ball again. Some colours appeared in the white mist, and these colours slowly outlined a picture.

It was an empty wasteland, and Harry was tied to a cross in front of a huge cauldron. Flames were burning underneath the cauldron as if something was being cooked.

Peter Pettigrew was holding something in his arms... a baby?

It was hard to see what it was, but anyway... Peter Pettigrew appeared holding that thing.

The image ended there.

Andy, Hermione, and Ron all turned to look at Harry at the same time, their eyes looking as if they were looking at a corpse.

After a moment of silence, Ron swallowed and said, "Harry, they've got you."

"Not yet!"

Harry looked at Andy and asked, "When is this supposed to happen?"

Andy spread his hands, "The next time you see each other."

 You're not saying anything!

"Maybe a year from now!"

Andy added, "I noticed that you in the crystal ball seem a little older than you are now."

Thirteen or fourteen is the age of rapid growth and maturity, and there can be big changes in a year or two.

"I've noticed that too," Hermione said.

"Good! I know what to do!" Harry secretly swore that if Peter Pettigrew dared to appear in front of him again, he would kill him personally.

"Ahh..."

Andy yawned and stretched, "It's getting late; we should go back to the great hall."

In fact, Andy was also curious about how this divination would be fulfilled.

The power of fate...

Over the past few days, Andy has done a lot of divinations.

However, no matter how you prepare for it, sooner or later, whatever appears in the crystal ball will come true.

This is the time node!

In other words, no matter how much preparation Harry does at this moment, in the future, he will be tied to that cross.

The only difference is... whether Harry will be rescued.
