Chapter 455 - Chapter 455: Chaos in the Magical World, Fudge is about to step down

'What on earth is Snape hesitating about?'

Lying in bed, Andy's eyes were slightly closed as he pondered the reason for Snape's unusual behaviour.

At first, Andy thought Snape was just playing a joke on him, so he didn't pay much attention to his emotional changes.

But Andy had just carefully reviewed the situation again and noticed Snape's unusual behaviour.

It seemed as if he was trying to say something but couldn't.

'What did he want to say?'

Andy analysed deeply, 'Snape is a love-struck fool, and he's doing all this for Lily. Betraying Voldemort, siding with Dumbledore, protecting Harry... it's all because of Lily.'

'But if you wear a mask for too long, you won't be able to see yourself clearly.'

'Snape has been a professor for over ten years, and his words and actions have long been influenced. Or maybe... he doesn't want to do something that would make Lily unhappy.'

'Hmm...'

Andy pondered for a moment, 'Maybe Snape really did discover something in the Death Chamber, and this made him hesitate, not knowing whether he should continue.'

'What exactly was it?'

'Dumbledore...was it for the same reason that he gave up on the quest for the Deathly Hallows?'

'The world of the dead...the dimension of death...'

Andy pressed his temples, suppressing the urge to explore the Death Chamber immediately.

Deciphering a secret requires not only sufficient strength but also a wealth of knowledge, broad insight, and understanding.

Otherwise, even if the truth is right in front of you, you won't understand what it means.

'Looks like... I'll have to check out the Restricted Section,' Andy thought to himself.

'Let's sleep first!'

With a decision made, Andy immediately used the Occlumency to empty his mind and soon fell into a deep sleep.

***

That same night, some people slept soundly, but others were unable to sleep.

In the dim office, Snape sat in his chair, looking completely exhausted.

"Lily..."

"What should I do?"

Snape muttered, his eyes brimming with pain.

As Andy had predicted, Snape had indeed found some clues in the Death Chamber—after Lily's death, Snape had studied a lot of information related to souls and death.

So he knew what it meant.

It was something even Dumbledore would go out of his way to avoid mentioning.

That was why Snape had turned a blind eye to Andy.

Because he was afraid, he might be unable to resist collaborating with him.

He wanted to resurrect Lily.

However, if he continued his investigation, the consequences would be unpredictable.

It could be nothing, or it could be the end of everything.

Snape didn't close his eyes until the sun was high in the sky, and then he slowly got up from his chair.

He still had to go to class.

He couldn't afford to let anything slip in front of Dumbledore.

***

The Great Hall.

"The Ministry has been invaded again!?"

The young wizards were shocked when they read the Daily Prophet that morning.

"These Death Eaters are simply getting out of hand!"

"They don't even take the Ministry of Magic seriously!"

"The Aurors are as vulnerable as children in their presence."

"..."

At the Ravenclaw table, Hermione looked solemnly at the Daily Prophet in her hands and then asked Andy quietly, "Andy, what exactly Professor Snape and the others up to?"

This was a question Hermione had wanted to ask yesterday.

She knew about some things, so she couldn't understand the point behind Dumbledore and Snape's plans at all.

Saving Peter Pettigrew.

Infiltrating the Ministry of Magic.

They looked like the real villains.

"Maybe... we'll be fighting Voldemort soon!"

Andy whispered, "And... infiltrating the Ministry of Magic wasn't Dumbledore's plan; that was someone else."

A fight? Someone else?

"When?"

Hermione couldn't wait to ask, "Does Voldemort have any help?"

Dumbledore had already decided to fight Voldemort, so Andy was prepared to reveal a little bit so that Hermione would be worried and improve her strength as quickly as possible.

"In a year or two!"

Andy said thoughtfully, "Maybe a little longer."

"But even if we go on a war with Voldemort, it won't be over in a year or two... We have to destroy his Horcruxes."

Hermione nodded and continued to press: "What about the person who infiltrated the Ministry of Magic?"

"I don't know!"

Andy shook his head and said, "Maybe there's still a hidden force in the wizarding world, and they want to find something in the Ministry of Magic. The Department of Mysteries... You know, it's always been very mysterious."

Andy wasn't actually talking nonsense.

The forces in the wizarding world can actually be divided into many factions.

The pureblood families alone can be roughly divided into three factions: the traditionalists, the reformists, and the pro-Dumbledore faction.

As for the messy little cliques, there are even more.

But if we look at it from the perspective of the 'decisive battle with Voldemort', the forces in the wizarding world can be roughly divided into three camps: Voldemort, the Ministry of Magic, and Dumbledore.

Of course, now there is also the hidden camp of Andy to consider.

As the hidden boss of the wizarding world, Andy has a big advantage—the so-called hidden... is that as long as no one finds Andy, no one can defeat the boss.

So... Andy was right to say that the infiltration of the Ministry of Magic was the work of a hidden force.

Hermione looked solemn.

The young witch already had a feeling that trouble was brewing and that the wizarding world might soon be in chaos.

"Andy, do you think the Ministry of Magic..." Hermione paused.

She felt that the Ministry of Magic was simply unable to fight Voldemort, let alone the hidden forces within the wizarding world.

No one knew what those people really wanted.

"Fudge may soon have to step down!"

Andy pointed to the section of the Daily Prophet reporting on Fudge and said, "No one trusts him now, and he must resign."

If Peter Pettigrew had been rescued without Fudge being present, he might still be a minister.

But Fudge was there, and he performed so poorly.

There's no way around it; he has to step down.

Hermione nodded. "Andy, who do you think will be the next minister?"

"Well..."

Andy thought for a moment and said, "Crouch is tainted, and Scrimgeour has lost twice, so the only person left who is qualified to compete for the position of Minister is Amelia Bones."

Hermione raised an eyebrow in surprise and said, "You mean the person you sent the complaint letter to? I remember that she seemed to be the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. You said that she is very fair and competent."

"Mm-hm!"

Andy shrugged, "If she wasn't competent, Fudge wouldn't have given in just because of a complaint letter from me."

Hermione nodded in agreement.

This was true. If Andy's complaint letter had been sent to someone incompetent, it would have been forgotten about long ago.

"I really want to meet her," Hermione said with longing.
