Chapter 456 - Chapter 456: The turbulent Hogwarts and the feasibility of soul upgrading

Amelia Bones may not know it, but she has gained another little fan in Hogwarts.

But that's fine.

If Bones lives to the end of the war, then given her personality, she is likely to support Hermione in taking over her position.

By that time, Andy should also have gained some influence and may even be able to take over Dumbledore's authority.

Add in the Malfoy guy...

Andy estimated that there would be a decent chance of getting Hermione to take over as Minister of Magic.

Hermione was also relieved. "I really hope that when Head Bones takes over, she can change the corruption in the Ministry of Magic."

She shot Andy a glare as she said this.

"Huh?"

Andy looked puzzled. "What is it?"

Hermione pretended to look incredulous and said, "I really can't imagine that when Minister Fudge was in power, one could even bribe to get in touch with the Ministry of Magic for an exception."

"I've asked around, and not all wizards' children can use magic outside school."

"At least, not the Weasley family."

Er...

Andy touched his nose. "That's because of my dad."

"And also because Mr Weasley is Dumbledore's man. Fudge's people reject him, and the pureblood families regard them as traitors."

If it weren't for that, Mr Weasley would have been promoted long ago.

Just as Andy was imagining a bright future in which his wife became Minister of Magic, Harry and Ron got together again.

"It must be Snape!"

Harry's hunch was amazingly accurate. "I saw Snape this morning. He deduced five points for not greeting a professor when I saw him."

Ron was shocked. "Snape has changed back?"

After saying that, Ron's face instantly fell.

Does that mean Snape is going to inexplicably deduct points from them again?

"Harry, I now feel that it's actually quite nice that Snape keeps smiling at you," Ron said with a bitter face.

Sacrificing Harry alone can make everyone happy.

"And Malfoy!"

Harry ignored Ron's antics and analysed himself: "Ron, do you remember? Yesterday, that was Malfoy's first time actively looking for trouble with us this semester."

"Harry, you mean..." Ron immediately responded.

Harry said with a grave face, "After Peter Pettigrew was rescued, they immediately became normal."

Ron nodded in recognition.

Indeed, both Snape and Malfoy had become normal.

Snape had deducted points from Harry.

Malfoy had also started picking on Harry.

And all of this happened after Peter Pettigrew was rescued.

Ron absolutely didn't believe that there was no connection between the two.

"Harry, what are you going to do?" Ron asked immediately.

Ron was not afraid to stir up trouble.

This was a Gryffindor tradition.

Harry glanced in the direction of the Ravenclaw table and then whispered, "At this point... Ron, we can only go and ask Dumbledore; I hope that he will tell us."

"Okay!"

Ron nodded, then said with a face full of embarrassment, "But we have to get the password to the Headmaster's Office first, and Professor McGonagall may not tell us."

"I'll figure something out," Harry said.

Hogwarts, which had been calm for more than a month, was once again surging with undercurrents.

Snape was struggling.

He had been in a bad mood for a while, and many young wizards had suffered as a result. Among the third years, only Andy and Hermione had been spared.

Harry and Ron were investigating Snape and Malfoy, and they were planning how to get the password to the Headmaster's office.

Professor Lupin was also torn.

He actually suspected Snape a little, but Dumbledore trusted Snape, and Professor Lupin didn't want to question Dumbledore's decisions.

The Slytherin wizards began to admire the Death Eaters, whom they found cool and powerful.

This led to rapidly rising tensions between Slytherin and Gryffindor.

This was not a minor conflict, but a matter of belief.

A cold war had already been ignited between the two houses.

Malfoy was now also very conflicted.

He had never expected the Death Eaters to be so powerful. Just two people were able to rescue Peter Pettigrew from the Ministry of Magic.

Furthermore, they defeated the Aurors and the Hit Wizards effortlessly.

If the Death Eaters were already so strong, just how powerful would Voldemort be?

Malfoy simply didn't dare to imagine!

In contrast, although Andy had outstanding potential, he is only a third-year young wizard after all.

So Malfoy now wanted to return to Voldemort's embrace, but at the same time couldn't bear to miss being part of Andy's future. What's more, his father had already started contacting Dumbledore.

It was very difficult.

With different demands from various sides, the atmosphere at Hogwarts has become very strange in recent times.

However, none of this affected Andy.

As long as it didn't affect him, it didn't matter if Hogwarts exploded.

Andy had been checking information in the restricted book section for some time.

He hadn't let any book go that was related to soul, death, or the 'Death'.

With the permission slip given to him by Professor Flitwick, Andy read every one of these books from cover to end.

Saturday, October 16th.

Hogwarts, library.

Andy let out a breath and put down the book in his hands.

"What's the verdict?"

Hermione asked curiously. "Did you find what you were looking for?"

"I've got a clue!" Andy nodded.

While speaking, Andy snapped his fingers and used a silencing spell on the surroundings.

"What's the verdict?" Hermione asked.

"You should look at this."

Andy handed over the book in his hands, which mentioned the theory of the soul, exactly the same as Andy had proposed before.

The book said that the soul originated from another realm and that the soul would return to that realm after death. In addition, the book also provided a certain interpretation of the death dimension, although the content was rather vague.

More of it was related to magic.

Hermione read it over roughly and then handed a letter to Andy, "Have a look at this."

"Hm?" Andy curiously took the letter.

Hermione whispered beside him, "Nuclear fission. I don't know how much you know about this."

"During scientists' nuclear fission experiments, they discovered that most particles were very obedient, but a single particle disappeared and could not even be found in our world."

"So scientists deduced that the missing particle may have reached a higher dimension."

Having said that, Hermione looked at Andy and said with a complex tone, "Andy, you are right; the Dimensional Beings may really exist. When our magical attainments reach a certain level, it may be possible to achieve soul ascension."
