"Andy!" The young witch gasped, her face flushing red. Her eyes widened in confusion as she looked at Andy.
He actually…
Unlike the others, although Hermione was cheerful and lively, her emotional intelligence was questionable. She often helped others in a preachy tone, which made it difficult for her to get along with people.
This also led to Hermione being relatively conservative in emotional matters.
Suddenly being kissed on the cheek by Andy in public made the young witch a little flustered for a moment, and even her usually clever brain almost shut down.
"I'm full!"
Hermione spoke quickly, then she picked up her textbooks and ran out of the great hall without looking up.
Andy scratched his head.
In fact, Andy was a little embarrassed, too.
In two lives, this was the first time Andy had been so 'open' and kissed a girl in front of so many people.
"Andy, go for it, come on!" The Weasley twins applauded and loudly cheered Andy on.
"Do you need us to order you a bouquet of roses?" George shouted.
"Or maybe play the violin for you?" Fred, not to be outdone, followed with an idea.
Okay!
I don't need any help.
Andy sighed, shook his head, gave the twins a helpless look, and then ran out of the Great Hall.
Thanks to the negative example of Snape, Andy knew that, as a man, he must not back down at such times but rather strike while the iron is hot and seize the high ground in one fell swoop before the other person has a chance to react and overthink.
If he keeps dawdling, it will be difficult to win her heart later.
Running out of the castle, Andy found a certain runaway young witch by the Black Lake.
Hermione had her back turned to Andy, so he couldn't see her expression.
"I'm sorry..."
Andy started to say, but Hermione quickly interrupted, "You don't need to apologise; I just... I just..."
Hermione stammered, "I just wasn't ready."
"Actually, I wasn't ready either."
Andy said, "I don't know what's wrong with me today; maybe it's because you're so charming that I've lost control."
After saying this, Andy walked over to Hermione and glanced at her expression in the corner of his eye.
It looks like there's a chance!
"Hermione..."
Andy took Hermione's hand. "From the first time we met on the train, we've known each other for more than two years, right?"
Hermione gave a light "Hmm."
"I think our chemistry isn't that bad."
Andy continued, "Before, I always thought that magic was all there was for me to pursue in this world, but after meeting you, I realised that the world of magic is actually very boring."
"But fortunately, you are here to fill this boring world with sunshine and joy."
"Hermione, I hope we can always travel on this journey of life together."
Without any outsiders around, the young witch obviously felt more relaxed.
"Andy, let me think about it," Hermione said hesitantly.
"I don't think there's much to think about."
Andy took Hermione's other hand and turned her around to face him. "I think I should pay some rent too."
As soon as the topic of 'paying rent' came up, Hermione immediately remembered what had happened in the Great Hall. She glared at Andy and said, "Maybe you haven't moved in yet."
"Then I better hurry, or I might be sleeping on the streets tonight."
Andy spoke and swiftly planted a kiss on Hermione's lips. "The rent is paid... Hermione, you have to let me stay."
Hermione's eyes widened. "You…"
Andy blinked, "Not enough? I can pay again."
"You...okay..."
Hermione pretended to glare at Andy and said, "For your sake, I can let you stay for a while."
"Maybe a little longer," Andy raised an eyebrow.
"That depends on your performance," Hermione said.
"What performance? Need more rent?"
Andy laughed: "I can do that, even if it means paying a bit more. I can afford to lose a bit in that area."
Hermione took a deep breath. "I think we should go to class."
"It's still early!"
Andy said. "I've looked at the time, and there's still over an hour until class starts, so we can stay a bit longer."
"Then walk with me!" Hermione said.
"Mm-hm!" Andy shrugged, indicating that he had no problem with it.
After walking by the lake for a while, Hermione had apparently calmed down a bit.
The young witch felt that she might have been a bit hasty in agreeing to it, as Andy hadn't prepared anything, and the great hall and the lake didn't look very romantic.
However, she was quite satisfied with Andy's performance.
At least Andy had taken the initiative to say it.
The young witch had originally thought that she would have to wait for a few more years!
Andy also felt that he was much better than a certain professor. He hesitated for years without saying anything, and then someone else stole his bride.
How tragic!
In these kinds of situations, it's better to strike first!
After strolling by the lake for more than half an hour, Andy and Hermione returned to the castle.
The crowd had already dispersed.
It's not uncommon for people to fall in love at Hogwarts. Every year there are several couples at Hogwarts, and many of them get married after graduation.
You can see couples cuddling in the corridors all the time.
There's even a place in Hogsmeade village for dating, though unfortunately there's no hotel there.
Hermione was relieved to be away from the crowd.
When Andy saw this, he laughed, "Hermione, look over there..."
Then Andy pointed his chin in the direction of the entrance hall.
Hermione looked in the direction Andy was pointing... On the bench in the entrance hall, a man and a woman were embracing, whispering to each other.
The young witch glared at Andy.
"Relax," Andy said with a smile.
Hermione looked around a few times, then said curiously, "Why didn't I notice before that there are so many couples at our school?"
"Maybe we didn't pay attention before!" Andy said.
The brain has a filtering function. For things that don't matter, even if the eyes see them, the brain will selectively ignore them.
"What should we do now?" Hermione asked.
"Let's go to the classroom and sit for a while!" Andy suggested.
"What were we doing at this time in the past?" Hermione suddenly asked.
"Hmm..."
Andy pondered for a moment before saying, "Maybe reading in the library or practising magic in the Room of Requirement. In short, we were very busy!"
"Is today different?" Hermione raised an eyebrow.
"In the future, it will all be different."
Andy made a distressed expression, "I have to add dates to my daily schedule. Hmm...if I want to be original, I probably need to think of a few more ideas."
Hermione glared at Andy in response, "From the look on your face, dating seems more difficult than magic?"
"Because you are more important than magic."
Andy looked at Hermione and said, "That's why dating is more difficult than magic."
