Chapter 11
Kim Hae-yoon froze upon hearing that name as she looked at Cho Shiye in shock. She smiled and opened her mouth, "It's me, Kim Hae-yoon."
"Oh." Cho Shiye replied as she rubbed her eyes and saw Kim Hae-yoon clearly, she blushed and looked down. "I'm sorry."
"What for? That aside, are you hungry? You've been asleep for an hour after what happened so you must be exhausted." Kim Hae-yoon pulled out the porridge and a spoon inside the paper bag and opened it, the food was still quite hot so she blew it softly.
Cho Shiye saw this scene and felt guilty, the person in front of her cares for her deeply and loves her as much and yet she still couldn't get over Kim Yun-hee and compare the two of them with one another.
'To think I called her Kim Yun-hee. I'm really out of my mind.' She bit her lower lip and clench her fist.
Kim Hae-yoon smiled and aimed the spoon towards her, Cho Shiye looked at her gentle smile and opened her mouth unwittingly. 'It's bland.'

Kim Hae-yoon stayed inside the hospital and fell asleep on the couch while Cho Shiye was taken by the doctor earlier named Ahn Gi-sek to see a psychologist.
She paced around a private ward that Cho Shiye was transferred to as she looked at her watch. It's been 2 hours since her wife left and she's becoming agitated. Park Cheol-seok had left to get a new set of clothes for the two of them, leaving her alone.
The door burst open and Kim Hae-yoon smiled and looked at the door only to see a short woman with short brown hair, like a bob, and cute blue eyes. Their eyes met and Kim Hae-yoon was faced with hostility as the woman frowned at her.
"What are you doing here? You don't seem like a hospital staff, who are you?!" She asked as she raised her hands. She looks a lot like a cute cat hissing whenever someone would try to get near here.
"Uhm, this is my wife's ward." She replied as she looked at the woman coldly, her tone exuding grace. "Now, may I ask, who are you?"
The woman looked confused and looked at her optical brain and looked back at Kim Hae-yoon with a scowl.
"What do you mean this is your wife's ward?!" Kang In-eun was in disbelief, this random woman was lurking around her best friend's hospital room and claimed to be her wife.
She had seen the empress a lot of times on the news, magazines, and other media outlets in the internet and they met during the annual banquets celebrations so this woman claiming to be her friend's wife is absolutely crazy unless she's in disguise.
Kang In-eun froze up and looked at Kim Hae-yoon discerningly. 'She's not in disguise, isn't she?' Kang In-eun felt like laughing after realizing that she may have offended the empress of this land.
"Y-your highness?" She asked, her voice trembling as Kim Hae-yoon looked at her with a cold smile.
"Oh, it seems like you know who I am." Kim Hae-yoon smiled.

After an awkward silence, Kang In-eun bowed her head in a courteous manner. "I'm sorry for my rude behavior, your majesty. I'm Kang In-eun, the third daughter of Baron Kang from the west."
"What's your relationship with my wife?" Kim Hae-yoon asked despite knowing full well that the two were friends.
"I'm the Empress' consort's best friend, your majesty." She replied curtly as Kim Hae-yoon smiled. Kang In-eun felt awkward as she stood at the door.
"You should take your seats, Shiye was taken by the doctor for another test." Kim Hae-yoon smiled and pointed at the couch, Kang In-eun sat quietly as Kim Hae-yoon looked at her.
"Is that for Shiye?" Kim Hae-yoon asked as she pointed at the fruit basket that Kang In-eun brought, Kang In-eun nodded as Kim Hae-yoon took it from her with a gentle smile. "Thank you, I'm sure Shiye would appreciate it."
Kang In-eun was taken aback, the empress, who's known for being a cold tyrant who bathes in blood who even killed her own blood related relatives and siblings for the throne would be able to smile sweetly like this.
"Is there something on my face?" Kim Hae-yoon asked as Kang In-eun shook her head.
"N-no, no, your majesty!" Kang In-eun waved her hands out as Kim Hae-yoon chuckled that dazed Kang In-eun as she stared at Kim Hae-yoon.
"Hahahahaha, no need to be so formal with me, you're my wife's best friend so you can treat me as such." She held out her hand as Kang In-eun stared at it and back at her. "Don't worry, I won't bite." She teased as Kang In-eun blushed in embarrassment and took her hand.
"Nice to meet you, K-kim Hae-yoon." Kang In-eun reintroduced herself nervously.
"Likewise. It was nice meeting you too, Kang In-eun." Kim Hae-yoon smiled.
