Pov Dia,
We stood in front of the small village of Kuoh. I must say, it's a beautiful village, and it seems like a pleasant place to live.
The only thing that bothered me was the awkwardness that had settled between us after I mistakenly believed that Amaterasu was a "loli" like me, especially after meeting her sister Tsukuyomi, who was far more mature in certain aspects of her appearance.
In reality, Amaterasu had been developing physically like her sister until she used an overabundance of power that caused her body to shrink into a "loli" form.
Since then, I've felt awkward around her, even though she will remain in this form for the rest of her life.
Tsukuyomi: "This place inspires me for a new painting."
Tsukuyomi's paintings were truly beautiful. Moreover, she could animate them, making her landscape paintings feel as if you were gazing through a window.
Amaterasu: "If I were to advise you on a place to build your house, I would recommend the top of the hill. It overlooks the city, and the view will be beautiful."
It's true, that wouldn't be a bad idea. Plus, I would have plenty of space to create my house without using too many spatial distortion runes.
Looking around the hill, I had plenty of ideas for the garden and other features. Tsukuyomi generously offered to help me design the plans for the house according to my wishes.
As I glanced over the plan, I was happy, because not only was it well done, but even someone with no knowledge of construction would be able to understand it.
Dia: "I wish I had a sakura alley that would always be in bloom."
I've always found these trees beautiful, and I would be at the peak of happiness if I had some at home.
After receiving the plans Tsukuyomi made for me, I contacted Aurora to send me a dozen witches to help build my house.
Aurora: "According to the plans, it would take us about two weeks to build your house if everything goes smoothly, but I'm not sure I can successfully perform all the different spells correctly."
Dia: "Don't worry, I'll install the runes."
While the witches were building my house, I used my devil powers to make them believe that the Eucus family had been here for a long time, with the peculiarity that no one should approach. I'm confident that the flaws in this power will go undetected.
I wonder how the Church will react when they find out that a devil is running the village.
If they want to go to war against me, I'll slaughter them and then warn Michael to have his believers removed from my territory.
It doesn't bother me too much if they build a church in the village, as long as they don't cross the borders. This village is a gift from Amaterasu, and I won't let anyone attack this gift.
