"I called you here to ask you something personal. I hope you won't mind but I am just curious. I have seen your daughter here a lot of times and she seems to live here despite having a parent. Why is it like that?"
Heaven wanted to tell him the reason behind it but she wasn't exactly sure whether she should or not.
He wasn't someone she had known for a long time or someone she could trust her daughter's safety with. Yet something about this man was telling her to share everything with him.
She decided not to disclose everything in the end. She was going to tell him half of it.
"I am the orphanage owner. That's why I felt like I should ask this since she's in our orphanage," he adds and Heaven's eyes widen.
She heard the owner was a very rich businessman and thought he was in his fifties but she never expected him to be this young and handsome.
