The palace returned to its peaceful state. Kira lived the life of a "salted fish" for a total of two days; she did nothing but eat, drink, and sleep. Though she got bored from time to time, she found that she didn't mind living like this—it was very comfortable.
But her lazy days didn't last; on the third day, she received a visit from Evelyn. The usually cheerful Evelyn looked as if she had gone through hell and back, and she hadn't even brought Bloom along with her.
She looked at Kira with eyes full of tears. After taking a few steps towards the princess, she collapsed to her knees and cried in a very dramatic manner, "How could you do this to me?!" she exclaimed through her tears.
Kira stared at her blankly, not understanding what she might have done to put the other girl in so much distress. She glanced back at the eunuch who had escorted Evelyn; he himself looked very confused.
"Evelyn, what's...up with you?"
