"In that case," Weisheng murmured amidst their ongoing dilemmas, "How about you allow me to give you a nickname? If you only let me use it, the odds of revealing your identity will be low."
The immediate solution felt like a reasonable choice, so both Xiaoling and Lady Ren nodded.
"How about you let me call you Xiao Hua?" He asked, "A little flower, delicate and fragrant."
Lady Ren chuckled at the suggestion, "Aiyo, Second Lord!"
"What?" Weisheng asked as if offended, "If you have a better name that incorporates the family name, why not say it?"
Xiaoling chuckled at their banter, "I like it, Lady Ren. It's cute."
The two looked at Xiaoling in surprise. Her eyes sparkled as she spoke, indicating she really liked the random nickname Weisheng came up with. He was a little embarrassed for not thinking of a better one.
"You can give me an official name now," She smiled at Lady Ren.
