"Personal assistant?" Athena asked to confirm and Grey nodded.
Athena immediately chuckled. This meant she had to do everything Grey said, be around him and see his annoying face every day. If it wasn't for Noah, Athena wouldn't have agreed to it. But, Athena was already at a dead end.
"Oh, you don't want to? No problem. I'll go." Grey turned his body around.
"I will. I agree."
Grey spontaneously smiled at that. Fate was now really helping him. This way, Grey could constantly boss Athena around and annoy her.
"But, you have to promise me one thing."
"What?"
Athena extended her little finger in front of Grey. "The matter of this agreement should not be told to Noah."
Grey frowned. "Why, isn't it because Noah can defend you?"
"I don't want to. I made my own choice. Noah will be there working, I don't want him to lose focus worrying about me. I don't want to be his burden. So, you can't tell this to Noah or anyone else. Karin, Ocean, you guys too."
The three of them fell silent, especially Karin. "Okay. I agree. I don't want to make you a burden either. Thank goodness you've realized that. I promise. No need to use that little finger promise. I don't like it. I'm not childish like you," Grey retorted making Athena chuckle.
"Yes, Miss. If Mr. Grey has agreed, I will also keep it a secret from Mr. Noah," Ocean said and Athena smiled.
"Thank you!" she said with Ocean's nod and smile. Athena then turned to Karin who still seemed to be thinking. "Karin. You agree too, right? Please," Athena pleaded.
Karin still hesitated. Karin was the servant that Noah had asked to look after and inform Athena of matters related to him. If something like this happened, Karin had to inform Noah.
"If he really doesn't agree, there's no need to worry. Just fire him."
Everyone was shocked and immediately turned to Grey who had just spoken. "Sir, no! I still need this job! Please don't-"
"Then you must agree."
Karin immediately nodded with a terrified expression. "Y—yes. Okay. I agree. I'll keep it a secret," she said and Grey smiled.
"You're threatening Karin?" said Athena who was annoyed at Grey's pushiness.
Grey shrugged his shoulders. "Something like that. Isn't that easier than persuading?"
"You-"
"Get ready immediately. I don't have much time. Ocean, just prepare the car first. When you're done, I'll bring this woman too."
"Yes, master." Ocean immediately left to obey his master's words.
Athena was surprised. "Wait. Are we leaving now?"
"Hm." Grey looked at the clock on his wrist. "I'll be waiting here, ready in five minutes. If you haven't come in five minutes, I will withdraw my goodwill."
"How can it be that fast?!"
"I'm not a patient person."
"Yes. I know. But-"
"It starts now."
Athena let out an annoyed sigh. Trying to negotiate with Grey would not do any good. Athena immediately ran to her room to get ready and Karin soon followed to help. Grey, meanwhile, just smiled.
**
"Did you tell Noah that you were out?"
"Not yet. He's still working. I don't know what to tell him. If I tell him I'm going with you he'll worry and feel weird. We're enemies, there's no way I'd want to go with you. Later, she might get suspicious about our agreement and my surprise for her."
"Then when she finishes work and comes looking for you?"
"I'll find an excuse later. As long as he doesn't see me with you, then it'll be fine."
"Hm. That's it. Here." Grey stopped his steps when he was in front of a shop specializing in men's clothes and accessories. "This has everything you should be looking for. This place is quite big. Just search."
"You're right. It's huge," said an amazed Athena.
"Yes, it is. Surely a poor woman like you has never been here, so this is a valuable experience. Appreciate it."
Athena chuckled. No conversation ended well with Grey. "That's all right. Let's go inside."
"No. Just you."
Athena's brow furrowed. "What do you mean?"
"You think I want to keep you company? I'll sit over there." Grey pointed to the café in front of the shop. "I'm waiting. Ocean will accompany you. Ocean will pay for it later. Just shop as much as you like. Bye."
Grey wanted to leave, but was stopped when Athena held his hand. "What else?" Grey asked lazily.
"I need you to come with me."
"For what? I don't have enough money? Do you still want company?"
"I need you because you're almost the same size as Noah. I want to buy clothes, sweaters and other things for him. I need to find the right size. You have to help me try them on. Ocean can't. His posture is already different."
Grey was surprised. "You want to make me a doll? I told Athena not to-"
"Never mind, get angry later. I know you plan to make me your personal assistant for revenge, right? Let's take revenge later. Noted. Noah is more important now. Let's go."
"Hey!"
Ocean couldn't help but laugh at Grey who Athena had pulled inside. They were really cute.
**
"I don't know what to buy. There's so much."
Grey chuckled. He and Athena had been walking here for almost ten minutes, but Athena still didn't know what to say. "Just buy one shop. It's done, right?"
Athena turned her head-surprised. "Are you crazy?"
"What? It's better that way than wandering around like this, right?"
Athena shook her head. Grey was a rich man, he liked to spend money, unlike Athena. "Oh, yes! Chest and waist circumference!"
Grey raised one eyebrow-suddenly he felt bad. "What?"
Athena didn't answer right away, but instead looked for something in her bag-the bag Noah had bought her as well-and took it out. "I want to measure your chest and waist circumference. I've brought a tape measure."
"What?"
Ocean was also surprised to hear that. She did not expect Athena to think of this.
"After measuring the chest and waist circumference, it will be easier for us to find the clothes. No need to search hard. I was supposed to measure in the car, but I forgot. So I'm measuring now."
"You-"
Grey rounded his eyes when Athena suddenly hugged him. Ocean too.
Athena did it right in the middle of the crowd.
