Adhd Limbic

Silent Tide

This novel tells the story of two university students and their survival journey after a sudden zombie crisis erupts in Bristol, England. The protagonists, Jack and Emma, are a couple at the University of Bristol who have been dating for four years. Jack is a philosophy student with ADHD who loves outdoor activities and radio communications. Emma is a computer science genius with an introverted personality and exceptional programming and hacking skills. The story begins when Jack captures secret military communications with his modified radio equipment, codenamed "Silent Wave," while Emma's data analysis system detects abnormal hospital data. They witness the first zombie attack through Emma's electric car monitoring system and realize the city is facing a serious crisis. The zombie virus originated from a military experiment leak at Bristol Port and rapidly spread throughout the city. The government and military publicly claim it's a "chemical leak" but quickly deploy large numbers of troops to implement lockdown and "cleansing" operations. As the situation deteriorates, the government cuts off Bristol's electricity, water, and communications, but Emma gathers information through hacking and discovers the military's plan for a destructive strike codenamed "Scorched Earth." Facing the city's collapse, Jack and Emma decide to escape. They abandon using a motorcycle because roads are blocked by numerous abandoned vehicles, opting instead to travel on foot through the perilous city. Along the way, they encounter infected attackers, dangerous survivors, and witness the complete breakdown of urban order. Eventually, they successfully reach the observation tower at Clifton Cliff, from where they witness the military's devastating midnight bombing of Bristol, reducing the entire city to ashes in an attempt to control the infection. Faced with this disaster, Jack and Emma decide to head toward Wales in search of a safer refuge. The story's ending suggests that despite the government's extreme measures, the real threat—the "Silent Wave Zero Subject"—has already left Bristol under military escort and is en route to an unknown destination, indicating the crisis is far from over. The novel portrays society's rapid collapse in the face of disaster through a personal perspective, as well as human survival instincts and moral struggles in desperate situations. Jack and Emma's professional skills and psychological resilience are tested during the crisis, while their romantic relationship becomes a crucial force supporting them through the catastrophe.

Working in a Nursing Home with a Hot Male Coworker (BL)

Kai is a 28 year old nurse. He works in a nursing home called Shady Pines. He works the overnight shift three days a week. He has been at his job for four years and has many residents and coworkers he enjoys. Recently, a new nurse's assistant began working, who happens to work the same nights as Kai. Unfortunately, the coworker seems to like teasing him. Liam, the tall, muscular, handsome CNA seems to have a thing for Kai. A slice-of-life boy love story set in a nursing home, written by a nurse who works the same shift in one. Yes, these things really could happen in a nursing home. ‐------‐-------------------- Some common terms used in a nursing home setting: ‐------‐--------------------- CNA - Certified nursing assistant. They are licensed to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse. They may assist with activities of daily living such as toilet use, transfers, showers and eating. QMA - Qualified Medication Assistant. Many nursing homes will have QMAs working. They are a cheaper alternative to a nurse and unfortunately are often interchanged with licensed nurses even though the cannot legally assess patients. They are CNAs that have underwent a special program that allows them to pass medications under the supervision of a nurse. Resident - For most patients, a nursing home is their actual home. The correct term for someone living in a nursing home is resident. It is seen as more respectful and humanizing. Lift - A device used to assist residents to and from bed, a wheelchair or the toilet. They are different types of lifts. The most common lift is a hover lift. This is used to lift a resident into the air then lower their body to a surface. This is safer for residents who are unable to move their bodies appropriately. It also helps to prevent workplace injuries. **** This is my zany BL where my ADHD is allowed to run free. if you are looking for a well-planned BL which has two people fall into a deep, soul mate, forbidden love which will prevail against all odds, please see "The King Loves the Court Bard" which I am proud of. http://wbnv.in/a/9diXXtk

108 Galaxies

Wei Chen, a young archaeologist, was granted the black card, and has received a task from the Archaeology Headquarters to visit Galaxy 10. It is a new galaxy on the other side of the Great Barrier that has not yet been opened to the public. But before he could even accomplish this, his mind was invaded by a time-traveling ancient cultivator and was devoured. With the absence of spiritual energy and Qi, all seems lost in cultivating, until an unknown secret is revealed. --------------------------------------------------------------- I know there’s an issue with info dumps and slow development, but I can’t help the second part. That’s why I created multiple auxiliary chapters where most of the info dumps are put into. They constantly update as the story progresses. Trust me, the info dumps and slow building will gradually go away! It starts accelerating at chapter 14 so don't worry! -------------------------------------------------------------- Update: I hope you all understand that I'm just using the democratic system because I'm most familiar with it, as an American. I am not brainwashed by western media to think that the Chinese government is all bad and stuff. I have a broader perspective nowadays, so I hope any Chinese folk understand. -------------------------------------------------------------- Update: I also want to mention that I know my strengths and weaknesses in making novels: Strengths: 1. I'm strong in science aspects 2. Strong at making action/adventure scenes 3. Okay at plot progression and story development (needs improvement) 4. Good at noticing errors 5. I have quite a creative mind and can come up with plenty of ideas on the run Weaknesses: 1. I suck at creating characters with personality 2. I suck at characterization, expressing thoughts and emotions for characters. 3. I'm not very good at drama or romance stuff 4. My ADHD interferes with my ability to stay focused which is a reason for slow releases (going to my doctor to get that solved). 5. My ADHD also makes my emotions go up and down a lot, which affects my ability to type (going to my doctor to get that solved). 6. College~! It is for these reasons that I'm looking for a legit co-author who has character development, drama, romance, etc. as a strength. I really don't mind if you're male, female, American, Chinese, British, etc. As long as you can converse in clear English, and you are legit, then I am fine with cooperating. Message me on Discord and I'll try to respond in my free time. Discord: https://discord.gg/DzYaT9P
