Chapter 11 - Part 11

"Sir, calm down," Ocean whispered back to remind him master.

"Athena, I'm telling you, don't go overboard. Not because you're being defended by Noah, you're being arbitrary. Just making a promise to you lowers my ego. Apologizing? Crazy!"

"Grey!"

Noah shouted as Grey walked away. Noah sighed. It was difficult talking to his friend. Grey wouldn't want to apologize because his ego was quite high.

"That's it, Noah. I understand. I didn't really want that. I was just joking, intentionally making him angry."

Noah turned to Athena who had just been talking. Athena already looked better. Athena was able to smile. Noah calmed down too. "Okay. That's it. You just rest, Athena. Don't be afraid or think about it anymore. Trust me to protect you."

"Yes. I trust you. Thank you, Noah. That's very kind of you. By the way, aren't you working? Didn't you say you were going to the hospital?"

"You're already like this, still thinking about me? It's better for you to rest well. Okay?" said Noah gently, making Athena only able to surrender and nod.

"Yes."

"Damn it! That girl really! She wants to bully me? The more she wants to! Me? A Grey, a famous mafia, apologizing to her? Cih!"

Grey immediately let out a grumble after his friend, Noah, came over to him after Athena had gone to bed. Noah thanked him because Noah knew Grey was not doing this because of Athena, but because he wanted to honor Grey.

"Grey, you are different from Athena. Most people when they make a mistake, they have to apologize."

"Mistake? Where did I go wrong? I just wanted to teach her to shoot!"

"Your way is wrong. People are not all mafia. Not all of them are like you," Noah replied, making Grey let out another ragged, resigned sigh. Noah held back his laughter at seeing his friend get this angry for the first time and all because of Athena. "But, thank you, Grey. I know, you promised Athena because of me."

"Thank goodness you know. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bothered to meet, or even promise, that woman."

Noah gave a small chuckle. "Yes. I know. By the way, Ocean just told me that he has obtained data about Athena. Do you want to hear it? Athena turned out to be—"

"No! That's enough. I don't want to hear anything about that woman," Grey interrupted immediately. "I don't care about her and I don't care where she came from. If she leaves here, I'll only want to talk about her."

"That's fine if you don't want to hear it. I brought the data documents about Athena. I still haven't read everything."

Grey just cleared his throat lazily and Noah finally left. Grey himself looked sharply ahead.

"Damn. Just wait, alley girl. I'll get my revenge on you."

***

"Miss Athena? Oh my. What are you here for? Is it because you're looking for breakfast? Wait a moment, Miss. The food isn't ready yet. I'll prepare it soon, then deliver it to your room. Please forgive my impudence."

A maid who took care of all the business in the Grey house-Sasha-panicked at the sight of Athena who entered the kitchen area right in the morning. Athena frowned, puzzled to see Salsha in such a panic. But, it wasn't long before Athena understood. Grey must have been the cause. With Grey's bad temper, he must have liked to scold the servants.

Athena smiled. "No need to apologize, Sasha, you're not wrong. It's still early, naturally there's no breakfast yet. I came here early on purpose. I wanted to cook my own breakfast."

"Cook it yourself, Miss?" asked Sasha confused and surprised and Athena nodded. "For what, Miss? Is our food not to your taste? Or, do you want some other breakfast?"

Athena shook her head. "No, no. Your food is very delicious Sasha. It's just that I wanted to make my own. Not only for me, but also for Noah. I've been studying it all night. I'm new to cooking, I wanted him to try my first meal."

Sasha smiled as she heard that. "Oh, I see. For Mr. Noah apparently? Breakfast for two?" asked Sasha-intentionally teasing and Athena just smiled embarrassedly. "Okay then. Go ahead Miss Athena, but let me help you. I have to make sure you're okay. Mr. Noah already said that too."

"Okay, thank you, Sasha."

Athena immediately entered the kitchen area with her cell phone in hand. She quickly searched for the ingredients she needed. Athena wanted to make croissants for Noah.

"By the way there are three servings, would you like to make some for Mr. Grey, Miss?"

"No! One Croissant for me to try whether it's good or not. I have to make sure Noah eats delicious food," Athena replied immediately without thinking with an annoyed look on her face.

Sasha herself just chuckled. Obviously she already knew the reason. The whole house also knew that Athena was enemies with Grey which Sasha thought was funny.

Afterward Athena started cooking, assisted by Sasha of course and succeeded. "Okay! This is delicious! What do you think, Sasha?" asked Athena, asking for opinions. They shared one Croissant on purpose to taste whether it was good or not.

Sasha immediately nodded. "It's very good, Miss. The dough is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the blueberries are delicious too. It's perfect. You're a good cook, Miss Athena," Sasha praised.

Athena smiled in embarrassment. "You praise too much, Sasha. You helped me too. That's why I was able to succeed. Thank you, Sasha. I want to see Noah, wake him up and give him my cooking. It should be Noah's time to wake up, right?"

"That's right, Miss. You may wake him up. I am sure, Mr. Noah will not be angry with you."

"Okay. Thanks."

Athena immediately went to meet Noah. Athena was really excited. Athena hoped that Noah would like the food.

**

"Ocean? Hey, Ocean!"

Grey chuckled in annoyance when he didn't get an answer from his personal assistant. Grey looked at the clock on the wall. It was still early in the morning. There was a good chance that Ocean hadn't woken up yet, yesterday Ocean had also stayed up late to finish work. Usually Grey would wake up later, for some reason today Grey woke up earlier than usual.

Grey turned his head and was even more annoyed to see that the water in his room had run out. "Shit. Ah, never mind. I'll go to the kitchen to get some water and see what food is available," Grey said.

Grey immediately stood up and walked towards the kitchen. Arriving at the kitchen, Grey immediately asked for a glass of water and asked for the water supply in his room to be provided. Grey then frowned at the sight of two croissants on the table.

"Croissants? It's rare that you cook these, Sasha. It's quite early, breakfast is ready. Looks delicious," Grey said as he took the fragrant croissants.

Sasha immediately panicked. "N—no. It's not yours. It's-"

"What?" Grey interrupted. Grey's gaze turned cold. "You didn't prepare breakfast for me? Have you forgotten who your boss is here? Do you want me to fired

"No! It's not that, sir. It's just that-"

"Then shut up. I'll eat it. If you still get in the way, I'll fired you," Grey threatened, making Sasha unable to fight back. Grey chuckled, there was already a lot to be upset about in the morning.

Grey finally chose to taste it and in one bite, Grey was surprised. It was really delicious. Grey rarely ate Croissant, he preferred heavy food like sandwiches, but this Croissant was delicious.

"This is delicious. Noah must like it. Sasha, ask the waiter who cooked this to come back and make four servings. For Noah, Ocean and me two. Right away," Grey ordered.

"But, actually-"

Sasha stopped himself when Grey left first, taking the two croissants to his room. Sasha could only sigh in resignation.
