Ado didn't really have the sensation of being; this hard-to-describe feeling was more like a consciousness without a body. She wondered if this was what happened when a person died.
"Am I finally dead? Am I in the afterlife?"
No, you're not dead. As for the afterlife, it's not exactly what you think, but it's an appropriate term to describe this place.
"What the hell?" There was nothing, but Ado had just received an answer to her question. Questions arose from the depths of her being, and she remained calm.
"If I'm really not dead, what is this place? Why am I here? Are you God?"
I brought you here, and even though I explain what this place is, I'm afraid you won't understand.
Indeed, your vocabulary is so limited. Just thinking of this place as a location is partly an error.
But I think you wouldn't be satisfied with such an answer.
The closest explanation to your understanding would be the beginning.
"The beginning?"
Yes. It is neither outside nor inside, a complexity that has no origin. It has no spatial or temporal nature, it is nothing without being nothingness, transcending existence. It is the absolute.
It's true that it's hard to grasp. How can we discuss in a place that doesn't accept a temporal nature and where nothing is supposed to exist?
First, let's replace the word "discuss" with "communicate." Though this term has its limits, it's one of the most appropriate right now. We communicate with our beings. Being is the language of the self.
Communicating through speech forces us into the incredible limit of words, which often leads to misunderstanding and misinterpretation.
Sometimes, even feelings can blur the barrier between what we want to express and what we say.
Thought is an inherent characteristic of being.
Communicating through thought can be hindered by the form that this being takes, by intrusive thoughts, and many other things.
That's why I let your being communicate what it wants to convey.
"It's true that all your answers seem as if they are already inside me, but I still can't understand the subtleties. Oh, this is amazing!"
Your true nature reveals itself in your being.
By observing oneself, one is able to know what one wants and what one must transmit. And from you to me, from me to you, we are no longer constrained by words, misunderstandings, and many other things. Here, everything is truth.
"If I'm not dead, if this conversation is really happening, am I not simply asleep? Could this just be one of those so-called lucid dreams, based on one of my fantasies? Is all of this just a product of my imagination?"
We exchange, but I suppose your imagination holds many mysteries. Talking about things you don't understand seems plausible, and everything I say may appear logical only through pure sophistry, trying to give coherence to what's happening to you.
But thinking this way is not necessarily a bad thing. After all, this could just be a dream, a dream that doesn't affect your reality. You'll wake up in the morning, make your breakfast, continue your monotonous life, hiding in small pleasures, or perhaps this is the reality, the one where you experience something new.
"Isn't this just a contrast effect?"
Do you think I would use the principle of coherence to push you in my direction?
"Why not? If this is a dream, nothing is impossible, right?"
Indeed.
"Then, are you God?"
Based on your experience and your definition of God, aren't you yourself God? Or is the lack of discernment overwhelming you to the point where you rely on what you describe as a metaphysical existence?
"What?"
Your life wouldn't currently be what it is if you had listened to yourself more. You keep repeating the same things, ignoring your experience. This experience and the feelings represent what you are. Your free will makes you the guardian of your life.
Here, all of Ado's feelings were apparent. All her deepest thoughts. She understood that the entity she was communicating with was preemptively responding to all her questions.
"So I'm going to ask you: what is God? An authority figure, a being who has answers to all questions, an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent being, our creator?"
Isn't that just what others say about God? By listening to what others think, you avoid the obligation to think about the question yourself.
That's one of the reasons people turn away from themselves. If you come to have a connection with what you consider to be God, then you are responsible for interpreting those designs.
"So, you mean God doesn't exist?"
If He existed, would you blame Him for the premature death of your parents? For allowing your existence?
Or for the fact that the world is not to your liking? Or for the fact that people differ too much from your ideal?
"It's true that I resented the heavens for what was happening to me, but realizing that my situation wasn't the most miserable compared to others made me even more miserable.
The social rules, all this prison of people, I'm out of sync with today's society. I've often wished to listen to God, if He exists, and ask Him questions. What was His purpose in creating this world?"
Just like children who cannot fly on their own, you are so obsessed with the creator that you forget simple things. Why are you so obsessed with the thought of having been created?
"Maybe because nothing comes from nothing?"
Yet, you believe in an omnipotent and omniscient God?
I'm not here to break your beliefs. The God you've described does indeed exist, and I am not that God. But it seems to me that you still don't understand what that is supposed to be and cannot distinguish it from what you yourself have created.
"So who are you if you're not God? The Devil?"
Who determines if something comes from God or the Devil? When you stop imposing your truth on others and listen to their truth, you'll be able to understand them. What does your being tell you about what I represent?
