Chapter 3 - Status

The moment he came to that realization everything became much easier.

He didn't believe he was ignorant enough to disregard the facts, and the memories he saw earlier were still engraved in his head. Despite his disbelief and amazement for some reason he felt weirdly calm like nothing he found out could push his mind over the edge.

'It's like a cool feeling spreading through my body' Angel thought with confusion and yet he pushed it to the side and focused on the event's that led to this point.

"I was watching the sun set and then…." His memory seemed slightly hazy for some reason and yet vividly remembered six lights filling the sky.

It was hard to forget and yet whenever he tried to recall the scene he felt a throbbing pain deep in his mind. It was agonizing to the point that he gave up trying to picture them, What happened after was something that he didn't know.

A loud boom that shattered his ear drums and lastly was pure darkness that seemed unending.

"Did I die?" Angel didn't understand what had fallen onto earth but he could only feel in his heart that it was a calamity.

The fact was that it didn't matter right now what happened to him or how he woke up in this foreign body, He was truly in another world that was much different from earth.

"I used to read novel's about transmigration when I was younger but I never thought I'd end up like them" He took one last look in the mirror before looking around the gorgeous room that seemed filled with riches that he could barley comprehend.

The valentine family

The Avaloria empire stood in the center of the continent with a massive body of water at its eastern side and vast mountain's separating it's northern side from the Republic, A alliance of ten kingdom's that covered the entire northern side of the continent.

There were four pillar's of the empire. Valentine, Heart, Crescent and Fortuna.

Each family holding immense power that could be compared to a kingdom itself. Riches, Land, Military Power these families lacked none of it and standing just above the other's was none other then valentine family.

They held monopoly on the most vast magic stone mines in the continent, Magic stones were a necessity not just for basic everyday item's like lighting and heating but also for weaponry, A family so rich that even the royal family could not compete when it came to gold.

"A diamond spoon? That's what it's called right" Angel thought with slight amusement.

Yesterday he was a poor kid who could barely afford to buy something sweet once a week and now he was the son of a family so rich they practically defecate gold. He couldn't help but find it funny and laugh out loud.

It wasn't a joyful laugh but one filled with dark humor as he remembered the hardships he faced on earth and a yet with a flip of a switch all those hardships seemed utterly worthless.

"Should I take this as god's gift to me?" He stopped laughing running his hand through his long silky hair.

"Don't people usually have a status screen or something like that?" Angel said with a small sigh but he froze as a transparent game like screen appeared in front of his eye's.

'That worked huh?' He thought as he slowly looked over the screen before him with a gaze of interest.

Name: Angel Valentine

Bloodline: Half Human/ ^\€<^*#£

Title's: The Heir of valentine, Cold Prince, The one who gazed at the divine

Temperament: Pragmatic

Mana Core- Magician

Aura Core- Adept

Angel's eye's took in the words occasionally stopping over certain word's before he stared at his blood line with narrowed eye's.

'Half human? And half what?' The word's next to it were jumbled nonsense that he couldn't comprehend.

There were many race's in this world but for angel to be only half human left him a bit speechless. He was well aware that his father was a human with no doubt in his mind and his mother in this life….

He didn't wish to think about her as dark feeling's grew in his heart but he was confident that she was human as well or at least he thought she was.

'What race is it?' It was pure curiosity and nothing more.

Although he found it a bit weird not being fully human it didn't bother him enough to care, He just hoped he wasn't apart of one of the race's that were cruellyscorned in this world.

'But my title's' After looking away from his bloodline his gaze finally landed on this title's with a thoughtful face.

'The one who gazed at the divine?' It was the only title that he didn't understand where it had came from.

The heir of the valentine was obvious while the cold prince title came from a nickname that gained popularity by the aristocratic women in response to his handsome looks and his cold personality that bordered on cruel.

Angel could only assume that the title referred to looking at something divine which then made another question fill his mind.

Was it before or after he entered this new body of his?

His thoughts instantly went toward the six light's that had filled the sky the night before, He had looked at them had he not?

Were they something of the divine? And If they were what exactly were they and why did they appear on earth? Or perhaps he was overthinking it and the explanation was much simpler.

The questions he had only seemed to multiply with every passing second but he shook his head and pushed them to the back of his mind, He didn't have an answer right now and he doubted he would anytime soon so he could only focus on what was before him.
