Meanwhile with the trappers, they had lost sight of the group after a while. Or so they thought.
"Damn it! Where did they go!?" The trapper in the leather yelled.
"I don't fucking know, it's your fault we lost them Randy!" The British trapper yelled at the other trapper, Randy.
"Oh shut your mouth Ramsoy! It was not my fault." Randy yelled at the British girl, Ramsoy.
"Both of you shut up, do you not realize how much trouble we're in in Zack finds out we lost 'em!?" African American yelled.
"Oh fuck, we're screwed. We're screwed!" Randy yelled.
"Hey wait...John where's Dixie going?" Ramsoy asked, the African male, John, as she pointed at the cowgirl, Dixie.
"Why don't you go find out!" John yelled at her.
Ramsoy rolled her eyes but followed after Dixie. "Hey Dixie!" She called out.
Dixie stopped and looked at Ramsoy. "Yeah?" She asked.
"Where you going?" Ramsoy asked.
"Just down the hall, thought I saw a vampire." Dixie replied.
"We don't have time for hunting vampires Dix, we have to get those kids before they get away."
"Y'all run ahead, I'll catch up I promise."
"Fine, but be quick. And you better not ditch us." Ramsoy said as she walked back to the group.
Dixie nodded before walking off, her shotgun in her hands. Her groups constant fighting was getting on her nerves. She found it annoying, they were all after the same thing so why couldn't they just get along? After a while she stopped noting that her group was following her.
"Guys I said I would catch up, I'm just huntin' a quick vampire." Dixie said as she looked at her group.
"And how do we know that, how do we know you don't know where those kids ran off to?" Randy asked.
"He's got a point Dix, you haven't been the most trustworthy person in the group. Need I remind ya what happened last time, ya tried to help a kid?" John said.
"Shut your fuckin' mouth John West. You know nothin' about what happened!" Dixie yelled.
"Dixie, Zack spared you, he might not be so forgiving this time, if you disobey him again." Ramsoy said.
"I ain't goin' after those kids damn it! I don't even know where they are! I just saw a vampire and felt like huntin' him! Y'all know I can't turn down a good hunt." Dixie countered.
John sighed, "Alright fine, we'll trust you. But if we find out you're helpin' those kids, your on your own with Zack. We know nothin'. Deal?" he said.
"Fine whatever, but I'm not goin' after 'em." Dixie sighed, but none the less, agreed to the deal.
The group sighed before turning and going back down the hall where they had last seen the kids. While Dixie however stayed put counting the bullets she had on her. Only twenty shots, if she had to turn on her group, witch she probably would, she didn't have many bullets to spare. She could take up to 12 shots on her group of seven, but she'd have to save some in case she was attacked by something else.
"Why do I always do this to myself?" She mumbled aloud.
Dixie sighed and walked further down the hall, she saw where the kids had gone. But for some reason she didn't tell her group. Her boots echoed down the hall, she was being loud on purpose. As she walked she hummed a tune, it sounded creepy in the empty halls. She glanced back to make sure her group wasn't following, after deciding they weren't she turned a corner. Into an old patient room, she then slipped into the bathroom of the room. She knew her way around the building, she had found and studied a map, before she burned it. It gave her leverage with her group, they needed her to get around.
She knocked on the wall of the shower three times, hearing panicked yelps behind the wall she knew the kids were hiding there. She sighed and looked around, there was a hole in the ceiling. She smirked and holstered her shotgun and looked around for a way up.
"God this is gonna hurt." She mumbled to herself.
She took a step back before taking two long strides forward and jumped up. She grabbed the edge of the ceiling and pulled herself up. Grunting in pain as she did so.
"Yep, knew it, that hurt." She groaned as she laid on her back in the hole for a moment. "Alright let's get these damned kids out of here." She muttered.
She than crawled into a ventilation shaft and made her way to the other side. After a few moments she found herself in front of a vent, she peered out seeing the group of teens. She groaned seeing them in a room with old blood stains on the walls. They were going to get sick if they stayed there any longer. She kicked the vent open, causing the kids to scream.
