Our last day of peace before the storms that begin to gather in Rome started with our awakening around 9:00 AM. Well, I wouldn't want to waste the last day here, and the temperatures are starting to become unbearable, so I can't sleep as much as I'd like.
We woke up quite energetic and went downstairs for breakfast prepared by the sisters at the inn. What I liked the most was the omelet made by one of them with great skill, looking almost like the one my mother used to make when I was little. Although I don't have many pleasant memories from that time, my mother's cooking always stays in my memories.
After breakfast, we received extremely unexpected and quite negative news for both of us... Cardinal Piccolomini had escaped from the prison in Rome where he was held captive after attempting to kill me. It seems we need to take more drastic measures regarding this character.
