Prince Karan's eyes gleamed with desire as he moved closer to Emily, his lips inches from hers. But Emily was not having it. She turned her head, and Prince Karan's kiss landed on her cheek instead.
Emily forced a smile, her eyes flashing with warning. "I'm sorry, Prince Karan. I'm still trying to remember things. Let's not be too... touchy."
Prince Karan's face darkened, his eyes blazing with anger. But he smiled cunningly, his voice dripping with malice. "Of course, my dear. I understand. You're just a little... fragile."
Emily's instincts screamed at her to get away from Prince Karan, but she was trapped. She took the bowl of soup from the table, drinking it quickly before pushing the bowl away.
"Excuse me," Emily said, her voice trembling. "I'm not feeling very well."
Prince Karan's eyes narrowed, his gaze following Emily as she stumbled out of the dining room. "You're just a little... dizzy," he called out after her. "The soup will help you remember."
Emily didn't respond. She ran up the stairs, locking herself in her room. She pushed a chair against the door, her heart racing with fear.
As she caught her breath, Emily realized that her phone was dead. She thought about charging it later, but for now, she just wanted to rest.
Unbeknownst to Emily, her grandfather was lying in a hospital bed, his condition critical. The doctors were baffled by his illness, and Emily's family was frantic with worry.
As Emily drifted off to sleep, she had no idea that her world was about to be turned upside down. Again.
Meanwhile, Prince Karan was watching Emily from the shadows, his eyes gleaming with obsession. "You'll never remember," he whispered to himself. "And even if you do, it won't matter. You'll be mine, forever."
