Have you ever lost meaning in your life?
My life commenced with a ray of bliss and a blessing from Atë, the goddess of misfortune. Initially, my world was filled with light. My parents were everything to me—my father, a proud military officer, and my mother, an engineering student, so full of dreams and ideas.
They cared for me in ways that made me feel safe and loved, as if nothing in the world could ever go wrong. And of course, there were disputes and debates among us. It was common to have conflicts in a family, as long as the family members eventually sorted them out.
However, things did not turn out the way I wanted. It was a snowy day, people rushing back to their houses in hope of avoiding the chilly weather, and my father standing in the living room with a dejected gaze, clutching the letter which was conveyed just now.
